The apartment was very small but comfortable

The only negatives about the property was our room was on the street side and was not very close to the CBD.

This was a small (typical of Japan) but cozy place. It had everything that we needed (e.g., fridge, ac, oven, microwave, washer) and we enjoyed our 4-nights stay. The weekend price was a bit higher than what I expected and there was no black tea. Otherwise, everything was great.

Very friendly and helpful, if I asked for something for the room they gave it. Felt very safe and at home here.

It’s a ways away from Kyoto Station so good luck getting too and from with luggage (you can take the karasuma line from Kyoto station and walk about 20 minutes and mostly even sidewalk).

Quite far from train stations. But the property offers pickup and transport of luggage from near Kyoto Station and its free. But you have to do your own transport of luggage back later. Limited eateries and shopping, especially at night. Have to take a bus at nearby busstop to go to areas with more shopping.

Comfortable stay. The bus stops outside and across the street provide good access.

Very new and nice well organized room. Quiet for a Main Street. Many eateries about. Laundry machine in room.

overall is good, except that its quite noisy, i was woken up by the cars outside, and also by the residents' foot steps the unit above mine.

We have a great time, nice people, we feel comfy there, it is close to The Imperial Palace and we took the bus 59 from the hotel to the Golden Pavilion

The room was clean and quiet but the beds were a little stiff. Overall really nice though.

It was furnished like an apartment so that was very nice. But it could do with a table and some chairs for when some deskwork needed to be done.

The room and toilet is big and well-facilitated. The washing machine inside the room is very useful and like the dehumidifying system inside toilet to dry up clothes within hours. We didn't use the stove and microwave. The only thing is there is no service at all as most of the time there is no staff at the counter. We came within the check in period and there was no staff at the counter, we waited and waited then we tried to ask a local to make a call to the hotel contact number on our behalf and asked what happened. They said that the staff will be on the way back. All in all we waited for about 45 mins for the staff to come back. Besides us, there was another family waiting also.

Very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly, although they demanded 2000 in taxes which other hotels didn't. The rooms are a bit small but that is normal for Japanese standards. We liked that a washing machine and a bathtubwith TV was available. The hotel is right next to a bus stop which is helpful. Also the river is only a 5 minute walk away.

Small hotel with a handful of rooms, mine was well laid out with kitchenette, laundry facilities, tub/shower, two beds & sofa, all looked very clean. No housekeeping provided, which is fine if expected. My room was by street but not too much traffic noise. On bus line with stop immediately at the door. General impression: the hotel was constructed by professionals experienced in developing hotels but is now run by well-intentioned staff not very familiar with the hotel business, which showed in various ways: my room had no towels at all, there was a long hair on the bathtub plug chain, & the toilet seat bottom was totally yellow with urine, like someone had peed all over it with the seat up. Front desk only staffed 7-11am & 4-9pm, but nobody for check-in at 5PM, but that clerk later phoned & made dinner reservations, much appreciated. The other clerks were more awkward in customer relations. I couldn't get hot bath water & found that they use on-demand water heating, which is fine if you expect that, but no instructions provided. I asked at the desk & was given a tiny useless form. (My fault for not knowing Japanese, but future guests should know the challenges.) I downloaded a manual & used Google translate, but it was frustrating. To leave my bags after checkout cost ¥1000 but couldn't get them until 4:00pm, which didn't help me. I think the employees are well-meaning but they need more experience to make their guests' stays more pleasant. Sorry for criticism.

Excellent accommodation at an excellent price - clean, spacious (by Japanese standards), great access to public transport and lost of cute, small restaurants nearby.
