Amazing place to stay. People are extremely friendly and attentive. Food was super delicious. The best part, though, is Onsen (hot springs): two types and both extremely well maintained and gorgeous. Hands down.

Great place

A good old Japanese inn where you can enjoy the extraordinary to your heart's content. The hospitality of the hostess and all the staff is wonderful. The building itself has a quaint feel, and I was impressed by how spotless and clean it was everywhere. Every meal was carefully prepared and very delicious! The sashimi in particular was exquisite. The hot springs were especially good, especially the open-air bath, but the hot water was good. I would love to visit again.

I stayed here as a birthday present from my wife who is 8 months pregnant. The host was very warm and kind, and we had a comfortable time. The hot springs had a nice atmosphere, and we were able to freely use the wonderful private baths after night, which was very convenient. The meals were carefully prepared using seasonal ingredients, and since we served them in our rooms, we were able to enjoy them in a very relaxed manner. I received a wonderful birthday gift casually from the hostel, and they kindly cared for my wife, who has a large stomach, and I could feel that they were treating me with sincere hospitality. Mr. Nakai from Nepal was also working hard and I had a good impression of him. It was a very nice inn that I would like to visit again.

Good value for money and perfect food. Meals, reception, and payment are all in the room, so it's not a big problem, but the lobby and waiting room feel quite dated, but that makes it even better. I stayed in the new building, and it was very clean with no noticeable dirt. However, the temperature of the hot spring was quite hot, and I couldn't take a relaxing bath in the large public bath, which was not open air. My body turned bright red and I gave up after about 5 minutes. It may have been just for that day, but I think the temperature needs to be adjusted. Also, since the check-out time was early at 10am, there was no time to relax after eating breakfast at 8:30am, so I had to get ready while feeling hungry. I think it would be an even better place to stay if the above two points were improved. However, it is a wonderful inn that I would like to visit again.
