Best holiday I've ever had

This was our third visit and it was as fantastic as always. It’s paradise and we can’t wait to return. The people are amazing and the food superb. We can’t think of anything that they could improve (apart from some crisps in the mini bar :)) FABULOUS!!!!!

Amazing stay mainly because of the excellent hospitality from the staff. 2nd stay at Gili happy to see high retention rate of staff despite the fact that 2 years have passed.

Its a beautiful place to visit

Gili surpassed all expectations during my recent visit, recommended by my son for its Maldivian paradise. A seamless journey began with a friendly guide at MLE airport, leading to a quick 20-minute boat ride to the resort's dock. Gili's speedboat ensured a swift arrival in about an hour, setting the tone for an exceptional experience. The island's rustic charm complemented my spacious Duplex villa, providing privacy with separate pavilions for bedrooms, living areas, and bathrooms. The culinary experience, led by Chef Harry and Monice, was exceptional, with a variety of high-quality breakfast offerings. Exploring underwater wonders with Mr. Friday, Ismail, was a highlight, showcasing Gili's commitment to guest satisfaction. The impeccable service, personalized touches, and magical atmosphere make Gili a resort worth returning to—an extraordinary experience that left an indelible mark on my memories. I wholeheartedly recommend Gili for romantic getaways or family trips, as it holds a special place in my heart.

Beautiful resort in the most beautiful location on the planet. As wonderful as the resort and the acommodations were, it was the staff at the hotel that made our stay fantastic. If you want endless sunshine, beautiful beaches and water...go to Gili! Five Stars!

The property was absolutely stunning. Staff is impeccable and goes out of their way to please you. The pictures don't capture enough of this paradise. Buffet dinners are amazing and filling.

Gili Lankanfushi is a simple yet very elegant resort. It is in perfect harmony with the surroundings. All the villas are built over the water and they are not your regular bungalows. They are beautiful, spacious apartments that have the most stunning views I have ever seen. No detail has been overlooked when it comes to the interior design of the villa that I stayed in (#10). It is open, breezy, quiet, very clean. I had the best sleep of my life. I came for a short vacation for a much need it recovery time and I left completely rejuvenated: body, mind and soul. When you wake up in the morning, the first thing you see when you open your eyes is the most beautiful turquoise waters all around you. The dinning on this island was above and beyond my expectations. One cannot use adjectives like "good" or "delicious" to describe it because it will not do any justice. The flavors, textures, overall presentation all invite you to slow down and savor every bite you take. After each dining experience, I was left with a sense of complete happiness and satisfaction. The “Over the water” sushi restaurant is an experience out of this world. You can tell that the chef, Hari, is not just talented but also passionate and creative about this work with a key eye to details. This came through in every dish he prepared for me. The island is filled with lush vegetation and there's an overall sense of tranquility. It is like a forgotten piece of paradise in the middle of the Indian Ocean.

Vacation of a life time. Ishmael was our Me Friday and was wonderful. Other staff members that made my trip amazing was Ramen and Jang. Truly cannot wait to go back

This hotel was amazing. 10 stars. Our “mr Friday” alif was the best and catered to our every need.

If you plan on staying at this hotel, DONT. They will nickel and dime you on absolutely everything. You need a COVID test in order to leave? $300. They are absolutely ridiculous. The staff practically harasses you to go to their special themed dinners but once you go, you get the bill at the end as $320 for 2 people. They are complete scammers. The staff is very nice to the point that you feel bad complaining but they are scammers just as much as the hotel itself. They do not disclose pricing to the customer until the final bill comes. Although the hotel room was nice and has a nice view, don’t expect it to be private AT ALL. Both fishing boats and resort tourist boats drive by and park directly in front of the room 24/7. The shower is outdoors so prepare to have to duck every time a boat goes by. Did I mention it’s directly next to a fish factory? The bathroom is completely open, the shower is outside and the bathtub and bathroom are in front of see through windows, any boat that drives by can see you. At many instances it was really uncomfortable.
