This property had everything I needed. Excellent location near the museums and transportation, and easy walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. The room was small but designed well, so everything was reachable and not in the way. I loved the access to the patio. Would definitely stay there again.

The room is not cozy, its a box. There is no bed, it is a 2” thick foam mattress that is thrown on top of a sofa and labeled a bed. Only 2 very very small pillows provided, very uncomfortable. Bathroom is very small even by European standards. Could brush my teeth while I was sitting in the toilet. Bathroom glass was so small it did not stop any water from washing out of the shower, resulting in the entire bathroom being filled with water. Staff is friendly, at least. But would not recommend if you are looking for an affordable and confortable option. It felt like a Hostel but with just one room.

Only thing I can comment on was the shower in the bathroom. No door or curtain so it always just made a mess every time we used it. Other then that great place to stay! Would stay again :)

The hotel is economical and very clean with an elevator. There is staff at the desk and all individuals are very pleasant and helpful. The space in the room is extremely tight but fills the bill for a safe, clean, economical room next door to Vondelpark and close to both the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum. There is a very close tram stop to get everywhere else.

It’s just a mediocre place to stay at! Well, we didn’t expect much either as we just wanted a place to sleep!
The pillows and mattress could be more comfortable though!

I was severely sleep-deprived and anxious for my safety after this hotel stay. As a female solo traveler, I was particularly alarmed by the events that unfolded during my stay, and I feel it is necessary to bring these issues to the attention of the hotel, they never helped and when following up after they didn’t reply to any of my emails.
I felt very unsafe as a solo female traveler.
Throughout the night, I experienced continuous noise disturbances from multiple sources:
1. Loud sounds from the communal toilet next to my room.
2. Constant noise from the room above me.
3. Groups of people loitering directly outside my window, shouting and talking loudly and smoking which prompted me to go to reception on three separate occasions to request that the man at reception ask them to move away.
This situation made me feel extremely unsafe in my own room, unable to rest.

Cannot recommend this property. Very small room & bathroom. Beds and facilities in poor condition, including dirty torn curtains. Location is good for access to Vondalpark, but limited dining options. Good public tram support.

Mediocre hotel - upon arrival my shower head was broken, toilet and toilet brush wasn’t cleaned, and the carpet is covered in stains. Also, the beds were floppy and would fall off the box spring. Given how expensive this place is, I wouldn’t recommend it

Great location for easy access to museum quarter. No noise absorption. I was woken every night by other guests accessing their rooms and they were not noisy. I could clearly hear other guests moving about in adjoining rooms again they were not being loud. Hotel decor very tired and slightly grubby- paintwork chipped and scuffed. Safe difficult to locate as hidden behind large fan. No mini bar/ fridge in room. Tiny bathroom where you had to contort yourself around the sink to use the toilet. Extractor in bathroom not working. Staff pleasant and polite. Reception area was cramped.

Stay was nice, beds were extremely comfortable. Close distance to a lot. The street has several people checking the cars to break into them. We watched two from our room upstairs but they stopped when they saw us notice them getting ready to break in. Also had ours broken into during the day while parked in front of the hotel. There was a camera pointed at our vehicle and the police said they wouldn’t look at it and nothing would happen anyways.

Room wasn't very clean, cobwebs everywhere etc. never refilled teabags, tissues etc. bathroom was absolutely disgusting, so small tiny gap between the sink and toilet, sink was so small, water went everywhere and you couldn't fit the kettle under the tap to fill it up. The shower was awful no shower curtain so the water ran straight out to the toilet floor, everything got soaked , it was mouldy and the smell of damp was overpowering. The outside sitting area was overflowing with weeds and rubbish (Stanley blades, packaging even underwear). We actually got a brush and cleaned it up ourselves so we could sit outside.
