Love this place. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but they have what you need. There was a $10 a day discount for not having the room cleaned daily. Easy walk to Parliament, National Archive/Library, and buses/trains. Gricery market is also just around the corner. I will stay again!

Clean and tidy with a very comfortable bed. We loved the $10 voucher for going green and not having our room serviced.
Only negative was the shower box was very tired and could do with some work.

All in all very nice. The room was just a bit smaller than we expected aand some small things like a missing toiletbrush were missing. The lobby, restaurant and outside surroundings were very nice and clean.
The staff was very nice to us but sometimes pushed us a bit too becuase we took "too long" for some things that we had to organize with the hotel services.
But all in all a good experience :)

Great hotel and service. Just wasn't close too much, didn't really mind as it was wellington and everything was close together. Just slightly inconvenient. Also there was a small leak in the shower that let water leak onto the bathroom floor

Rooms are small and dated. You can hear clear conversations of the guests in the next room. There is no air conditioning, no ventilation in bathroom. The shower is from the 1960s. Mattresses are also dated and can feel the springs. They over sell car parking so you have to end up parking on the footpath and still pay. We stayed on a Friday night and in the elevator was advertised as $10 gin day from 4pm. They did not honor this after 6pm. This is misleading advertising. I would not stay here again and will also be adding to our corporate do not stay list.

Atura Wellington is an appropriately priced basic hotel. It has everything you need in a hotel. I like its location. Easy walk past the Parliament buildings into town. Car parking is not a challenge at this time of year or for those who know the tricks of city parking for free.

I booked the cheapest room and it was small but everything inside felt luxurious. The linens were clean and pristine. The elevator/lift had extra security feature of taping room key to access floors. The food and coffee were even good. I loved the view of the city from my room. Outstanding.
