Mercure Wellington Central City Hotel & Apartments

In the city center and very close to the bay. The location of the hotel and the cleanliness of the room were assets in the choice of the place. we had a lovely view of the bay. the only downside, we could hear the neighbor snoring and the elevator. We will return to this hotel, we enjoyed our stay.

An excellent last minute stay in this very convenient location. The room was fine, if a little rough in a couple of places due to lack of maintenence.

The state of the room was below expectations. Very noisy locations and uncomfortable beds/pillows. The room was tired and run down.

The property was central for touring the city !

The location was absolutely perfect for us. The size of the room was perfect and having cooking or heating facilities was a great bonus for the price too. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great stay

This property needs some serious TLC. Cleaning standards could be improved, my room had marks on the walls and signs of repair work that stood out like a sore thumb. The location was great, staff were polite and professional. I am very let down by this property, it is in the cheaper side however I do think it should be at the same standard as other Mercure Hotels. Very unfortunate really.

within city and convenient. parking is via Wilson parking but was unable to get extension to meet my schedule on last day.

This is the first property I have ever stayed at where my access key was deactivated in the morning. The key would not unlock my room at 6:00am in the morning and I had to catch a ferry to Picton at 7:15am! I only was able to access my room because a staff member was downstairs. This is poor form and I am pissed!

So central and easy to get to all areas of the city. Property is a little old and dated and worn. Front desk staff and cleaning staff were excellent, friendly and accomodating.

Perfect location. The room was a good size and had everything we needed. Very clean and good condition. Would stay here again

Will not come back to stay here. Firstly our room was on the top floor right next to the elevator shaft and just below the elevator mechanism. Was so noisy. The internet didnt work up that high. The TV also never worked properly. Our water stopped overnight for a good 4 hours but noone knew why. Was not offered alternative room as nothing available.

The property needs a refresh and the rooms need a deep clean. The staff, however, were helpful and friendly and did their best to compensate for the state of the property.
