Good hotel for Business or Leisure. Nice breakfast & room. Decent spa centre but have to pay, which I wouldn’t mind if it was maintained better - in need of some fixing as many things not working properly & in need of repairs. A good spa is only as good as its upkeep!

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Sheraton Porto Hotel & Spa, and I want to warn fellow travelers about their outrageous policy and poor service. Unlike any other Sheraton or Marriott hotel I’ve stayed at, this one refuses to accept food deliveries from Uber Eats, leaving guests and delivery drivers stranded. I was in transit when my food arrived and simply asked the front desk to hold it for a few minutes—something that is standard practice at hotels worldwide. Instead, I was met with complete inflexibility from the staff, particularly André Coelho, who repeatedly gave nonsensical excuses about “food safety.” If food safety were a real concern, then why are guests allowed to bring outside food themselves? The truth is, they simply want to force guests to order from their overpriced restaurant instead. This experience caused unnecessary stress for both me and the delivery driver. This is NOT the level of service I expect from a Sheraton hotel, let alone from a Marriott-branded property. If you value hospitality and guest convenience, AVOID this hotel. MarriottBonvoy, is this what you consider “hospitality”? I am a Titanium Elite member, and I have never seen such a ridiculous policy in any of your properties worldwide. This hotel is damaging your reputation. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

The Sheraton is on top of my list for the excellent hospitality they extend to Marriott members. Right from checkin, Andre at the reception made us feel privileged and upgraded us to club level rooms. Rooms were very clean and spacious. The lounge had great ambience. Both this Sheraton and Sheraton in Lisbon made us feel at home!

Front desk service was great upon arrival and several times as we had requests. The fitness center has plenty of workout machines and free weights. The rooms were mostly updated on the club level and the beds were comfortable.

I do not get it that people can highly recommend this hotel when you compare it to other 5 star hotels in the same price range, it is way to expensive for what you are getting. The hotel badly need some TLC. Rooms are old, dark, and the minibar is not stocked and breakfast was not included in the stay (€ 200+ per night). Infact the whole hotel looks outdated. The use of the pool should be free, atleast until the rest of the hotel is up to standards. Well, enough complaining: On the positive side was the evening entertainment in the lobby bar and the service from the bar staff. Tip: Go for another hotel or get a better rate than I had.
