Only good part was the location and how close you were to the beaches. As for the hotel, served raw chicken. Downstairs bar was good, but the included food was awful. Rooms were small as I stayed with two friends.

Overall, average for what it touts itself to be. It's not bad but it is dated, in a touristy area, and feels like it doesn't have to try (it's the nicest place in the area). Staff are nice enough but don't go out of their way; the cleaning staff, however, are EXCELLENT, and keep the place very clean (that's the 4th star on Service). The restaurant and bar are adequate. During my stay, several tween to teen athletic teams were staying in the hotel and the staff did NOTHING to keep them quiet or find the coaches/chaperones to keep them under control. "I'll stop by to see if they're noisy." No, they ARE being noisy, or I wouldn't call. They're yelling and bouncing around the room but if you hover outside the door for the 20 seconds they're quiet, then they're "quiet." Front desk simply did not answer after a point; I had to confront the kids next to me after midnight. The teams were given half the restaurant at breakfast and ALL the other guests were directed to the other half, cramming us together. Very close to the beach and nice rooftop views. Otherwise, another European hotel--just don't book it when there's a surge of teams staying here.

Beautiful hotel with modern design. Rooms are comfortable and well designed. We stayed there during the low season so the hotel and the area in general, were not too busy. Service is ok. Housekeeping did not fully make the beds everyday. They straightened out the sheet but didn't tuck it under the mattress. Reception staff are adequate. Breakfast is a decent selection. The pastries were very good. I would not recommend this location during the low season. It is also quite a distance to Lisbon central with no metro link nearby.

I was there for business out of the tourist season. Except the nice view (if you have ocean view room and not a backyard room) this is a terrible place to stay. Unfriendly staff (I have learned to greet once you meet your guest), dirty room, no cleaning (even with ‚Make up room‘ sign at the door). Sauna was not working, I did not try the pool (outside closed). Breakfast is the typical ‚mass-food-buffet‘ version. Cappuccino is mixed on purpose at the machine with hot chocolate (confirmed by waiter/server). Other coffee machines lack either of water or coffee. The staff is cleaning tables with harsh smelling cleaning product while you ‚enjoy‘ your breakfast. Location is nice, as it is at the beach but far away from the city center and at the other side of the river. Restaurants close by are a shame for Portugal, except the Blitz Pizza place (very good pizza, cheap but more for surfers than tourists). Never come back.

The hotel is great in almost every way. Perfect location, friendly staff (reception, cleaners, restaurant, bar), very good services. The breakfasts were perfect and varied, as were the lunches and dinners. As for the disadvantages: The rooms are poorly soundproofed, you can hear almost everything from the outside. The hotel hosted several groups of youth football and rugby teams during my stay. These kids were very noisy, even at night, and the staff obviously had no need to address this in any way, not even with their head coaches. Only for these problems I have to subtract one star from my rating of the hotel.
