It’s more like a b&b place rather than hotel. No big towel provided was not acceptable in winter time

Outstanding property for a family vacation and very close to Sokcho

Not bad for a short visit

We stayed in a deluxe room, one with a double bed and the other with three twin futons. The room was very clean and since we stayed 6 nights, we could request housekeeping for 2 days during our stay. Due to COVID-19, many of the perks in the resort were closed like the karaoke rooms, billiard and arcade room. They looked well kept and we would like to try it another time. The waterpark, Waterpia, was a 10 minute walk within the resort, possibly longer with little kids. We had 3 young children, so we drove - 2 min. The restaurant had a limited menu but was delicious. Starbucks in the lobby was a bonus but they did stay busy. The breakfast buffet was open only on the weekends due to COVID-19. They checked our temperatures and took our information down in case they needed to contact us. The tables had plastic gloves for guests to use when getting food. Most people wore their masks while getting food. The kid's area was perfect for our little ones. The food was good too. The weekdays were quiet but Friday evening got very busy. Parking was more difficult and you could smell a lot of alcohol from people, but they were not unruly. It was a 15 to 20 minute drive to Sokcho beach and Seorak Mountain. There are not a lot of good places to eat so a car would be highly recommended to get around. The room was clean and had everything we needed. A microwave would be nice but the kitchen area is quite small. A nice place to stay while visiting Sokcho

Always good service, good view, good amenity....our family visit every summer. You can go beautiful sea also..

When i arrived at hotel receptionist said I had to take 2 waterpia tickets. Just miss communication with Expidia & hotel. It wasn't my order.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, making my stat extra enjoyable. The water park was really fun and only 5 min walking distance. The hot springs in the water park was relaxing and romantic.

If you plan on visiting Waterpia, this place has everything.

Room is big and clean, the staff who help us to check in was nice and cheerful. But one thing want to comment is guest who booked family room for 4 ppl but breakfast just provide for 2ppl is not make sense.

We (4 girls) stayed 2 nights at Hanwha resort. Firstly it wasn't clear how many beds there were in the room, and it turns out that there was only one double bed, and two of us had to sleep on the floor. Secondly, they only provided hand towels in the room which made it extremely difficult after showers. Thirdly, they did not make up our room the next day, and when I asked the staff about it, I was rudely told that I should have requested for them to clean the room at check in, which was not made clear to me when I checked in. Fourthly, dining and other facilities such as the spa and waterpia were overpriced. In summary, we felt that this was not a 4 star resort.

Excellent property and attractions nearby. Be aware that this is the resort for members but accept non-members. As a result, you may find some strange rule such as no ironing board and limited amenities in the room.

First of all, this is a club and a resort for family, not for lone traveller. The location is too far from the town and it is HUGH....I had to pay 10,000 KRW for taxi to go there. There is nothing to do, the room is catered for family. Very big room with sitting room and mini kitchen. This is the first accommodation I have come across that does not supply either water or coffee or tea although they have electric kettle. I was told they have a mini market that I can purchase water but it is two building away from the lobby. I was told by the reception that this is a club and I can see that it is very popular among the Korean. Because of that, nothing is written in English or any other language. I must admit that the receptionist are very helpful and we manage to understand each other with little English and sign language. I should say it is a great place for family.

Hotel is beautiful but very few staff can speak much English. It was so bad that when I asked for a rollaway bed, they gave me an extra room keycard. When they say "OK" they actually do not understand. Most signboards are in Korean. Nobody cleaned our room in 4 days. When I requested for room cleaning, they only came to throw our rubbish. Beds were left in a mess, the towels were not changed. Decided not to ask because they would not understand anyway.

워터피아 이용하고 1박했어요. 늦게 체크인해서 7동이였지만 건물이 연결되어있어서 편의점이나 스타벅스 갈때 밖으로 안나가도 되서 좋았어요. 식당이 해맞이뿐이고 룸서비스가 가능한데 워터피아에 있는 족발이나 피자, 치킨만 가능해서 좀 아쉬웠어요.

건물 외관과 스파는 매우 좋았으나ᆢ숙소 내부 인테리어가 생각보다 오래된 느낌이 강합니다. 가족 여행시에는 좋습니다.

가족끼리 숙박하기에 좋았어요. 다만 방음이 안 되어서 조금 시끄러워요
