Lovely hot spring hotel. The room is clean and spacious and has a hot spring tap in a bath room. Staff are kind and friendly. Definetely recommended and happy to stay there again!

Everything was good. Was at the hotel before 3pm, hoping to check in if the room is available. But the room wasn't ready even after 3pm. Breakfast was normal and there was not much variety of food. Location is near to MRT Xinbeitou. Just need to cross 2 traffic lights after coming out of the station. Carrefour is conveniently located nearby. Hotel provided snacks and Pocari Sweat.

I booked this hotel so that we can do our hot bath within the room. Unfortunately the soaking area looks dirty with long term stains and all the taps old and rusty. When we turned on the tap for the spring water, the whole bathroom smelled like rotten egg. The view of the room is just as bad. Our room faces the back of some old residential block and sewage pipes and we can see some of the residents cooking. The room itself, no power points at the bedside and some parts of the ceiling with dirty patches from water leakage. The only good thing that we get to enjoy are the comfortable beds. Basically we didnt get to relax the way we wanted to for the spa experience.

I requested no smelling room but it was horrible with after smoking and stinky. I am a gold member but no early check in at 2pm and has to waited untile normal time of 3pm We were very tired from the 12 hours flight from Canada to Taipei. We were all exhausted n no simple. Have to think it over for next time n may be no repeat. Sorry.

Breakfast includes good selections of local fares which my wife and I like. All staffs in the front desk and restaurant are very friendly and helpful. Many attractions, restaurants and metro stations are all within walking distances. We especially enjoyed both private hot spring bathtub and large public hot spring pools.

An old hotel in an excellent location. Rooms are really spacious & comfortable. We enjoyed the huge onsen in our rooms. Breakfast was good & tasty with kind service staff. Plenty of eateries & shops in surrounding area. U can just walk over to the beautiful Beitou library. The only downside is the terribly small lifts. Other than that, we’re very happy staying here.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The area around the park was busy with lots of shops to find food . Walking distance to Beitou Market. The breakfast at the hotel was very good. The bathtubs were easy to climb into and the water temperature can be adjusted better for a long soak.

The receptionist was yelling at my uncle when he tried to explained that the room he got was not the same as his reservation. He ended up getting two room instead of one without extra fee because of the receptionist's mistake. Good for us but not sure if it affects their hotel or not. Just to summarize, it will probably a long time before we will come back to this place.

The stay was pleasant. However, the public onsen could only be used once per stay. We went in the morning, and it was quite empty. There were some minor miscommunications with the concierge, but was settled amicably. Breakfast was basic but good.
