We stayed one night, went to Taroko to stay a night, then back to Cullinan. The hotel is fine, bus 301 from the train station, with a complimentary shuttle to and from the train station if booked 24 hours in advance, which we made use of.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Cullinan. The pick up and drop off service from the train station was very convenient. Our room was clean and very comfortable. We loved the breakfast provided as they even catered for vegetarian. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. We would definitely stay here again.

Wi-Fi was poor at first, but called the desk and they brought a router to our room to resolve problem.

Breakfast was terrible with very little options. A little far from the main area of town. Couldn’t use the “free” shuttle because we didn’t reserve it days in advance. Shower was moldy. Wouldn’t recommend.

A clean hotel with friendly staff. The hotel is about a 25 min walk from the station but the staff were very helpful and arranged a taxi for us when we checked out. The breakfast was good and catered for vegetarians and people who adhere to a halal diet. Would recommend!

Room is big and comfortable for our family of 4 adults. Great service from the reception. We could use the bicycles for free. Breakfast is good with a wide variety of food. There is a supermatket just across the street. Places of interest not exactly near, about 15-20 minute walk, e.g. to railway station or night market. Overall, we are happy staying here.

Staff were great in pointing out places to go in and around the city and the free drop-off to the railway station was a god-send, although a bus does go right past the corner the hotel lies on.

The staff at the counter are extremely warm-hearted. They were very glad to answer any of your questions about the local food, tourist attractions and so on. BTW, they have free bicycle rental service!!
