Jasper Young Hotel Banqiao

We have total 6 people staying in the room for a night, two king bed are joint together with a baby cot, there is a walk in wardrobe space behind the bed, abit squeezy to walk in if 4 luggage are open. There is no toiletries etc.. toothbrush/handsoap. This caused some inconvenience however alright to grab from convenience store nearby. The bathtub is in the toilet together with dry(separated with a door) and wet(separate with a door). Cannot use the bathtub as other family member will not be able to shower/toilet.

Everything was good except the toilet and bathroom type. (Too opened type)

Nice area. Easy access to different districts. Train and bus to the airport are close by.

I loved my 10-day stay at this hotel. The staff and the cleaning service were excellent. Even though there were typhoon holidays during my stay, the cleaning service remained continuous at a professional level. The location is good, with a 10-minute walk to Xinpu MRT station. Also, there are SPA/massage services at 17F, and the restaurants at the 2F were great. The only thing that can be considered to change is the toilet paper, which is too thin to use. I struggled to have small pieces of toilet paper on my skin when they got wet. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay, and I will definitely come back.

Good clean hotel with friendly staff, spacious room with a good view. We extended our stay for an extra 3 nights & although we had to change rooms, staff organised that we could move to the new room 1st thing in the morning without any fuss or having to leave our bags at reception before we headed out for the day. Location was ok with major subway stations within 5 mins walk, however Ubers were cheap & quick to get to areas such as Xiemen. Only downside was that the breakfast buffet was a little strange with some weird options that changed daily but overall ok. Would certainly recommend.

Most aspects were good to very good. I was not impressed with the breakfast.

This was an amazing choice for our one day stopover.

I was there little early and they offered an early check-in with no additional cost.

Reasonable price and comfortable

This is an upscale hotel that felt brand new. The rooms were a good size, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms clean and modern (almost too modern, the auto open/close/flush toilets scared our kids :).

Nice and clean hotel. Room is a bit small for two pax. Appreciate the daily cleaning and bottle water refill.

A relative new hotel located near the Banqiao station. Overall the hotel is still very new and clean. The cons I can think of are beds being a little short, shower area lacking privacy and room not particularly large. The breakfast buffet is good for the price. Overall a good experience that I would recommend others.

Great services and nice setting in hotel.

The hotel is in very good new condition. We love the design of the rooms. Staff are very friendly.

Family trip we booked about 2 wks stay. -The walls are very thin-specially area where the wall connect to the window. You can hear next door neighbor talking, moving etc and even smell the food they eat. I’m not kidding. This happened 3am night waking us up. -Unchanged bed sheets. The 1st day there was this odor coming from one side of the bed. I didn’t think much of it until 2nd day so I decided to open up my bed sheet. There was a protective layer underneath padding so I got closer to sniff and realize this horrible smell so I requested house keeping. After house keeping, I inspected the area again, the smell was still there so I knew they never change protective layer (padding) or let alone bed sheets. This horrify me! Spoke to house keeper whom promise it will be changed. -Travel agency loaded tourist. The issue here is having too many tourist gets very noisy and packed throughout the day. I understand this hotel cares about making a lot of money but when you disregard customers that book directly with you its bad customer service. Check out time is noon, I asked if I can get an extra hour since my ride can only come at 1pm. The answer is No since they are so packed with bus tourists there is no leeway. -Overly zealous House keeper that won’t leave you alone. Creepy since day 1 it’s as if they are waiting for you to leave so they can talk to you. Always noticing when you leave no matter time of the day (turnoff clean room) Mind you they’ve access to your room!

Staff were friendly. The hotel was clean and quiet. Love it!

better if hotel or staff could provide more suggestions of places to eat around hotel area.

Love the spacious, clean room! Great hotel and we ate at the restaurant downstairs Tan Shou - we went at the end of the night (2 hours before closing) and it was rushed (they gave us the check in the first 10 minutes and started taking things off of our table and asking if we were done 30 min before closing) and they stopped replensishing the sauce bar. If you want to try the restaurant, I would recommend it but go at least 3 hours before they close. I would definitely stay here again.

Good location

Have stayed there for a total of 4 nights. Great modern property with great service staff.
