For us Dubai was disappointing until we got to this resort. It was amazing. Incredible staff. Wonderful rooms and we got the basic one. Food was great. Service for food outside of the restaurant was slow but it’s slow travel. Activities were great. We wish we had booked for more than two days. It’s worth going to Dubai just for this resort.

Our family had an amazing experience at Al Maha. The facilities, food, service, and activities were all superb. We also were delighted to see numerous gazelle and oryx wandering in their natural habitat throughout the property.

Al maha is a treasure with its natural beauty, it’s staff is unbelievable and the restaurant is superb. Looking forward to returning.

The hotel room itself is really unique and private, and it had the most comfortable bed. You can see gazelles walking around. Also you can swim in your private pool while looking at the desert, while no one else can see you. However I did have some problems during my trip. I booked the tour for the afternoon, and then it started raining. I tried to call and confirm, at first no one picked up my phone at front desk, then they did pick up but never followed up again. After my tour time passed I called again and complained to the manager, who treated the issue seriously and followed up with me in the room. The manager also talked to me twice in the dining room with really nice attitude, and asked about if there is anything else he can do. I asked if I can have the brand of the mattress, and he asked the housekeeping manager to send me an email. I still have not received the email(I also sent a message from hotels.com and no reply) Another thing is be careful that the lunch is only included once per day, which I did not know, so I was charged the second time. Wish they would have told me before the second lunch. Overall I would recommend people to experience it at least once.

Great little get away from the craziness of Dubai city. Lovely large room and pool with plenty of wildlife to see from the comfort of your own pool. Good and service both excellent. We wouldn’t recommend staying any longer than a couple of nights.

We had the best time staying at Al Maha. The service was impeccable throughout our stay and the food was incredible. The private pool was much bigger than some other villas we’ve visited in the UAE and the views we amazing. It was incredible having the gazelles wander up to our villa and we even got to see some Oryxes from afar. We would happily return to Al Maha again and hopefully for a much longer stay the next time round

Stayed 2 nights and everything was over the top. I can very much recommend Al Maha for a few relaxing days. I did my fair share of research and was well prepared on how it would look, but everything was over our expectations. Extra bonus for the breakfast, which probably was the best I've had at a hotel.

True glamping in a lovely conservation resort!

Overall a good option for a Dubai short break. For the price however, I would expect better facilities & a nicer pool area with a more luxury design. The villa felt a bit dated & the outdoor was a little small again relative to the price & some of their competitors. Activities were great but I would have like to do some mountain biking. The walking paths inside the hotel are a bit too narrow so often we had to stand on the sand to allow the vehicles to pass. In the restaurant many sections say 'healthy' but that food is NOT healthy...it's high in sugar...dates+mango+other sweet things is not healthy...a lot of sugar in everything (especially salad) is not good for you. I think a better idea would be some low carbohydrate or even keto meals.

Nice hotel but it the pool was dirty and sandy, couldn't swin or tan as there was so much wind on day 1 we were getting sand in our face and eyes. Sutie 22 is badly located
