The staff were very nice. Samuel rhe porter was very detailed in his advise on the available hotel facility . Espee, the restaurant staff was very helpful, nice and very kind. She went out of her way to make our stay pleasant.
The reception staff needs to get more information on transportation around Dubai. We asked about train or bus services to expo dubai, but the only option they could give was by taxi. Whereas the al riga train station provides train service to the expo dubai. The taxi cost us a lot. Also there are free bus shuttles called expo riders from many points.
The management could something about the noise from the disco hall.

Great location in Al Rigga area of Deira, Friendly and helpful staff. However the hotel rooms are dated and need refurbishment. Water pressure is poor and very little, if any hot water at anytime of day/night.
Another down side was we had booked 2 single occupancy rooms (higher rate than 2 people sharing a room) My friend (in one room) had his girlfriend come and stay and was charged an extra 100aed per night ! Even on the final night, which we had paid upto 12 noon and had to leave at 1am for flight, hit charges for lowing her into the room ? The details in the hotel diary are also out of date with pool times and bar opening and name of bars available in the hotel. ** for info** if you have lower floor room you will here music coming from the Metro Manila bar and Cheers bars (this didn’t affect us) You will also be charged a refundable deposit per room on arrival and local tax

Good hotel for a short stay for the price. Parking is available but we need to pay AED20 per night. Beware there are no electric sockets inside the room. We need to unplug the lamps and use those sockets for charging our phones or whatever.

Breakfasts were definitely worth it, but the lobby area etc smelled of cigarettes, and in general the area appeared slightly worn. The pool area upstairs was fairly average.
Shower and room facilities were tidy and mostly clean, however the towels had stains on them from previous users. It was handy to shops and to the bus and train stations.

We liked there Breakfast staffs and food. They were helpful.
The room we stayed, was not a good room. Bathroom mirror was broken at the middle. Whole trip we covered the mirror because in any culture of the world people follows broken mirror brings bad luck. We asked for room change. The front desk staff was not helpful. We were waited long time to switch the room. Finally we gave up and stayed 3 days in same room.

I stayed for 2 nights with wife and kid because it was shown as family hotel with swimming pool and gym etc but all were in bad condition and gym was hidden bar. Pool was worst.there was no rooftop restaurant. Completely misguided hotel. Not at all good for family. Will never ever stay at this hotel.

It started very nice with breakfast brought into the room but the night staff was very rude when i asked them about the Wi-fi as to why it wasnt working...they kept on hanging up the phone on me from my room...and when i was going out, i asked for the taxi and they refused to book call one for as they weren't any outside and i was travelling with two toddlers. At night time all you could hear is the noise from the nightclub that they have downstairs...so you cant even sleep properly
