A well updated older property. Everything works, even if the lights are a bit dim. The restaurant is excellent and the staff helpful.

I am very happy to find this hotel in Merced! Customer service was excellent as soon as we walked in the door. Our rooms were nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. We ate two meals at Rainbird downstairs and one at Mainzer just down the block. Both were very good and again, excellent customer service. Would recommend this hotel and will be back myself.

Impeccably clean with beautiful decor. Love how they restored the hotel reflecting also current design trends. Lovely.

Great experience staying at this hotel. I had free valet parking which was great since we had a lot of luggage that we were hauling up and down from our room to our car every day. Every employee that we encountered was super friendly and helpful. Loved that there was always someone in the lobby opening the door for us everytime we came and went. Our room was decorated so nicely. Very spacious. Cozy. Super clean. You do hear sirens and trains throughout the night, but they offer free ear plugs…but the noisy wasn’t constant and I’m pretty tolerant. Great black out curtains. So many cute places within walking distance. Will definitely stay here again.

Great hotel for the town - some historic buildings and more being renovated. Some good food options in the vicinity. Noisy with the cars in the car park opposite the back ally, and from the train at night. Single glazing for a European is a bit last century even in old hotels these days…
