Holiday Inn Express & Suites BOSTON - CAMBRIDGE, an IHG Hotel

Ran out of food at the breakfast. They made more but it took a while and I had to leave.

Stayed in this hotel during very cold few winter days when the temperature dropped to negative degrees. Our room only had 2 cheapest thin blankets, which would only be suitable for summertime. The heater in the room only runs on high speed and makes terrible noise. So your only 2 options would be to freeze during the night or to have your sleep disrupted every time the heater turns on and off. Front desk failed to provide adequate blankets despite multiple inquiries. They promised to bring extra blankets (although, same thin ones) and end up only providing one. That’s for 3 people staying in the room. Refused to give out any extra due to ‘hotel policy’ or lack of blankets. Servicemen came and couldn’t fix the heater either. Astronomically expensive parking of $50 per night. You can park on a street nearby for free, but keep in mind there is 24 hour limit for any street parking. Vehicle storage fine of $25 applies if you leave your car on the same spot for over 24 hours. Beware of this before booking. Otherwise a decent place to stay with relatively good breakfasts.

Overall a good property but slightly away from downtown if looking to have time spent around downtown then you need to use uber but overall a good and very nicely maintained property

Pros: paid parking, free breakfast, close to the mesum of science Cons: Very small underfurnished unclean king room No hairdryer Just a very underwhelming and cheap feeling experience for the price. I would not stay here again for the money.

The hotel was ok but there was no hair dryer in the room and most concerning was the plastic wrapped around the smoke detector. This is clearly illegal (Rm 708).

Conveniently located within walking distance of Lechmere T stop. Very good breakfast with warm options like eggs, sausage etc. Clean and comfortable.

This property is a great option for price-conscious travelers to Cambridge. Great bars and restaurants are a reasonable walk (or a quick Uber ride) away, and having a grocery store nearby is always a plus. The full breakfast was a pleasant surprise, and the beds were super comfy. This was my second time staying here -- and I'll be back!

The window does not block the noice from the street well.

If you visit this hotel, make sure your room doesn’t face Monsignor Rd. Cars blasted this music all night. Additionally, road construction with jackhammers started promptly at 7:00 am.

Very good service and amenities

Hotel is older and it's insane that it was $400 to stay there but it was comfortable and clean. The problem I had was that housekeeping staff was outside my door in the hallway screaming back-and-forth at 8:30 and didn't stop until 11 at one point I asked them if they could please turn down the walkie-talkies they were using because the volume was very loud and I couldn't get back to sleep. I just got a blank look, but they turned it down and just continued yelling back-and-forth.
