Clean rooms friendly staff and close to the freeway

Hot water was barely hot enough to get shower

The wallpaper was peeling off the walls. The faucet fixtures in the sink and bathtub were falling apart. The air vent had mold growing on it. There was no hot water in the sink. The room is severely outdated. There was a fire alarm in the middle of the night when most guests were sleeping. There were several doors that had the ‘Exit’ sign over them that did not open! After trying to open 3 doors, I finally found one that opened at the end of one of the hallways and made it outside. Everyone was standing around in the lobby hoping for someone at the hotel to provide information. No one ever did. There was a woman behind the desk who was shockingly checking someone into the hotel while there was an active fire alarm in progress. No one from the hotel made an announcement at any time. I had to approach the front desk and interrupt her while she was checking someone into the hotel to ask about the fire alarm. She said there was no fire and that everyone can go back to their rooms. Unconscionable that there was no preparedness in the event of a fire alarm and the guests were left to fend for themselves. I can only imagine what could have happened if there was an actual fire.

Excellent front desk staff. Very helpful and accommodating. Maintenance was needed and he came promptly and was very personable. He resolved our issue quickly and was very kind.

Was given wrong room with queens instead of king bed

I had no hot water my first 2 nights. The breakfast service was inefficient. I received my coffee after finishing my meal

Nearby highway,Very very noisy, I can’t sleep all night. And about 6am, the fire emergency, all the guests were required leaving, outside 20 minutes. It was the bad experience.

A little disappointing for my first stay at a Hyatt. The walls are so thin I heard the neighbor clearing his throat all night. The property is beautiful but could use an update. Some of the walkways are very dimly lit at night. Sunday morning a noisy church meets in one of the ballrooms and you can hear their music in your room two floors above.

Great discovery. When you walk in - a lovely aroma. The atrium lobby won me over.

This hotel was convenient for our travel purpose but was average for amenities and noisy. The lobby music was almost concert level and was very difficult to hear the staff and front desk. I kept asking them to speak up. They claimed they were unable to lower the volume. Road noise from the Katy highway was pretty loud too so I’d recommend requesting a room opposite of that.
