First time ever at a Microtel. It was very good.....easy check in and clean and comfortable. Only thing it did not have is large vanity in bathroom like more expensive motels, but we were just staying one night as we traveled home from visiting family in NC. Everything else was fine with exception of fewer outlets at bed stand for my CPAP machine. Breakfast was only cereal or yogurt and biscuits and waffles. But that was ok.

Liked the clean warm pool and nice jacuzzi. Breakfast wasnt much, but OK. Room was clean, liked that everything was fresh and new!

Some of the washcloths and towels are worn out. Also there was a dog barking a few times and no blow dryer provided which is not usually a problem but I forgot mine.

During our 2 night stay, we (family of 3) had to get new room keys from the front desk each time we attempted room access. Although the room was okay, the key card situation needs fixed. Very Frustrating.

Our room was recently renovated and very nice/comfortable - we liked the bed, other furniture in the room, and the bathroom. The staff was also friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the walls were thin; we had to move rooms after a family with a crying baby checked in to the room next to us. And then a few hours after that, around 1 AM, the guests above us were being very loud with music and tv and it kept us awake despite our sound machine being on at full volume.

Was just for sleeping on the way home from a trip. Was convenient and affordable. No amenities but we didn't need any. A window pane was cracked and everything felt tired but they are trying hard. Overall for getting some sleep while traveling this fit the bill. Staff incredibly friendly. Of note, a lot of noise traveled from other rooms and the hall into the room.
