It was closed to Cape May Coast Guard Recruting Center. The price was accordingly to the property. Check in was very easy, check out as well. Loved the Diner Restaurant closed by, perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Friendly staff, nice hot water.

I didn’t need the TV much, but it was too complicated. Said satellite was turned off so tried to activated it and wound up in a long update process so I turned it off.

My recent stay at the Red Roof Inn was very disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The service was terrible—staff were overbearing and seemed more focused on billing us than providing a good guest experience. We even received an unsolicited wake-up call at 8:30 AM because the front desk was worried about extending our stay and charging our credit card. When we decided to stay an additional night, they charged us a $22.50 fee per room just for a late checkout at 12 PM, which felt unreasonable and unnecessary.
On top of the bad service, the hotel’s cleanliness was far below acceptable standards. The rooms felt poorly maintained, with noticeable dirt and grime. It was clear that proper cleaning wasn’t a priority, and this only added to the discomfort of our stay.
Between the lack of cleanliness and the unprofessional service, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. I will not be staying at Red Roof Inn again.

make our Cape May plans too late and had to settle here. Wasn't terrible but not what we would call enjoyable: 2 pillows not 4, no wash clothes, hair dryer did not work, sink drain missing. Can't complain about the price ($100) but would not return.

you get what you pay for. as long as you have that mind set going in this hotel is fine. my complaint is i can’t say with 100 percent certainty that i was sleeping on clean sheets because one of the pillows in the room smelled so bad of bad breath and im not sure if it was the pillow case (as in the sheets were never changed) or the pillow itself and that’s what makes me question the cleanliness of the rest of the sheets. the hotel itself is conveniently located 10 mins from cape may and wildwood so that was a plus. it does sit on a noisy highway but i slept with the fan on so it drowned out most of the noise (bring eat plugs if you’re a lite sleeper). staff was friendly. lots of places to eat near by and some even in walking distance.

Stayed there three weeks prior, gave a good review. Given room near a loud highway. Prior stay rom had a microwave. Brought food this time no microwave. Bed had multiple soft spots and was squeaky.

Got to the hotel/room, the tv/remote did not work. It was so hot in the room, due to the A/C unit not working properly. They left an open used bar of soap and used mini shampoo container for us. Also, if you want a dog friendly hotel, go else where. You have to take your animal(s) off the property to use the bathroom and/or walk around or you will get fined “if caught.” Check out was at 10am, one of the owners came banging on the door at 8:30am saying since we have more than 1 dog(s) we had to leave and pay an additional cost if we wanted to stay. Overall experience was horrible, I will never stay there again.

The location of the hotel was convenient drive to the Wildwood Convention Center on which I was visiting for the Annual Firefighters Convention. My room was actually more spacious than I expected. It was clean and the air conditioning was fine then what I’ve read in reviews. I had no issues during my stay. It served its purpose and I’d stay again.
