First time staying here and won’t be my last. Perfect location right downtown by the Dr Philip’s Center. The room was huge. Seems to be an apartment converted into a hotel room. Furniture wasn’t fancy but it looks nice and does its job. The kitchenette was great to have for snacks and drinks. It also has glasses, plates, silverware, minifridge & a microwave. Free off street parking. Beautiful courtyard to grab a drink or a bite. Only thing I had to get used to was using my phone as the key for the room. Would definitely recommend. Looking forward to staying there again.

enjoyed the stay. checkin process on the phone was descent. the unit was hard to find but we got it. liked the older feel of the building/unit. seems upkept nice for the age..bed and pillows were comfortable. location is great. we drove there but were able to uber around downtown area. would definitely stay again.

We got a huge room with a gigantic bath for a very modest price. Since this is a historic property with different room configurations, the results may vary.
The directions that guests get to their rooms were fairly clear, but i think food delivery drivers are a bit baffled by the building labeling and numbering. Not a big detractor at all but something to be aware of.

Never spoke to or interact with anyone from Sonder while we were there. Never even saw an employee…water took forever to heat up in the shower. Like 10 minutes..so long that at first I thought we were going to have to take cold showers for 2 days but after like 10 minutes it does heat enough to take a warm shower not hot though.
Place is clean and pictures were accurate.
I would use their brand again.
Even though we didn’t see any employees we had no real issues since we could eventually take a shower.

The Wellborn is such a unique property with all of the character it has earned over 140 years! *Best: super cute room in heritage house, online check-in, easy access to room, well appointed, comfortable bed, good water pressure, easy to chat/problem solve asap (space heater quickly delivered & worked perfectly), bar and restaurant on site, city walkable, many restaurants and shops nearby to include Lake Eola park, Dr Phillips Center, downtown (DTO). *Things to consider: limited/quirky parking, bar/rest on site- open late, short showers with hot water, one tiny shared refrigerator in the lobby for anything needing cold, AC/Heat issues, access to electrical outlets (bring an extension cord). Overall it was a great stay and we really enjoyed being so close to everything we wanted.

I like it here but I tend to like Sonder properties. There were some issues with getting into my room and it was late when I got into town, and I did have to wait like 30 minutes before the person on the phone (there are no employees on site) was able to get me in, but other than that I had a solid stay and the interior is very eclectic. I also like that they feature Davines skincare in their units. If they iron out the technical issues it would be great! The Wellborn restaurant is a big plus because you can get good drinks and bites right there on the property.

I couldn't get in. The entry into the room was through a house, the code they gave me didn't work. I called customer service twice and they couldn't help. I ended up driving 2.5 hours back home.

Easy access from one of the main roads, the large room and bathroom was great, my only complaint which is the same for almost every hotel I stay in was the bed - hard as a rock.
