Spark by Hilton Evansville East IN

The Spark hotel seems to be Hilton's attempt at minimalist. The breakfast is only Bagels, yogurt, coffee and orange juice. Even the rooms are sparse. No plastic cups to get water, an ottoman to sit on at the desk, and minimal places to hang clothes.

Great experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable and clean. There was a bagel bar breakfast that was wonderful. Hotel is close to everything and in a nice area with other hotels.

There was no hot water available for the tub/shower. There was only hot water for the sink. We reported it but were there for three nights and nothing was done or compensation offered. All three of us felt so dirty as were could only wash off from the since. The temp was below 15 degrees for the entire stay. There were dead bigs in the foldout couch/bed. We were not given new towels or a room cleaning even though we were there 3 nights. We ran out of space in the two small trash cans and had to take gargage down to the elevator. There were no contains to put ice in on either the first or second floor. When we asked for containers, we were told to go to the third floor. No attempt was made to make our stay more comfortable and no appoint was made to replace towels and washrags or or even to move us to a different room where we could have hot water for showers. One of the clerks was nice, but still nothing was done about the hot water or the need for fresh towels and washrags. When we asked for sheets for the foldout couch were were brought two fitter sheets and no flat sheets. Will never stay at this brand of hotel again. Ever!!!!

Good respite from the snow storm. Very clean. Very helpful front staff.

Very nice and quite.

The only problem is that you can hear all the noise from the road as if there were no windows. I think it has to do with the type or quality of the windows, that's the only detail.

Rooms are clean and beds where very comfortable just wish they had a microwave and a coffee pot and ice buckets in the room 1 night stay turned into a 2 night stay was awesome

The room itself was clean. There was an issue with the hot water in the shower it never really got hot. Most was luke warm. The water in the sink was hotter than shower. I didn’t get my towels changed out and had to ask for two more towels at the front desk.
