This was such a cute little hotel right on the beach, and so close to restaurants and shops. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was very friendly.

Stayed here for 4 nights and the location is amazing and the staff were also amazing and very kind. The only issues we had were the walls were incredibly thin, we heard conversations in the other room next to ours as if we were in the same room with them. The hotel does have some wear and tear as well but it was clean. I would definitely stay there again, they have a great rooftop to spend the day on and also a great patio that looks right at the beach. The location was perfect, walking distance to everything in Venice and around the corner is little convenience stores, bars and restaurants. Our room was ocean view but it was very small but it did its job. Spent a lot of time on the front patio as well, also the room had a mini fridge that we stocked with beers which was great!

Parking problem. On website, parking available but not to the property. Not all people who staying will have their parking space. Have to looking for parking out on street. I found parking was about 2 blocks away.

The place is a little order and small but has been nicely updated. Can't beat the location. Only issue I had was that I couldn't turn the heater off one night. Front desk staff was able to un plug.

Another tourist referred to the area as "grungy", I think that means dirty & common to see drug use & homeless people. In saying that this is probably what the area is known for & part of the attraction. The location was fantastic, literally right on the beach, & all the staff were also great, & once we got the "grunge thing" really appreciated the location. If you want to be in the middle of it this is probably the most cost effective place to do it.

If you’re looking for a no-frills base camp right by the beach, this is the place. My coworker and I stayed for 2 nights to extend a work trip and we wanted to be steps away from the beach. The sunset is just stunning, they have a quiet rooftop terrace you can sit and enjoy the view. The staff was super sweet. The rooms are small but clean, didn’t spend much time in there anyway. A real hidden gem for what we were looking for!

Awesome location. On the beach and close to Venice Beach main area. While the hotel was great, Venice Beach itself was a disappointment...the beach was overrun with homeless people.

The employee told us to park on the Pacific because the hotel didn't have a parking lot. I parked where they told me and I got a ticket. It was a red zone and at night I couldn't see that.

Very friendly front desk. Quick, easy check in process. Perfect location on Venice Beach. Cute, small rooms. Only issue was I had to park on a side street and walk to the hotel as no parking spaces were available, even though I reserved and paid for a spot.

The hotel is on the beach which is great. But the rest is just ok. The rooms are dated with many coats of paint and everything is showing ita age. They try to keep it clean but the carpet on the steps is dirty and greasy looking. The AC was broken such that you could not turn it off and it was a cold night.
There is only parking for a few cars. So you will likely have to park several blocks away just on the street.
It was over priced for the quality.
But again it was on the beach. So that was the only plus.
