Great hotel, clean, good service

The receptionists are like fishmongers. I booked 3 rooms (6 rooms in total) for a total of 1.1 million VND. When I checked in (because I was late and wanted to hurry - I gave my card and ID card and all) I turned around and went up, 2-3 receptionists rushed up "Oh sister - oh sister - I turned back from the elevator (they were like panicking -) what's wrong, sister: you paid me 1.1 million VND for the room you booked (additional charge).. I was about to leave and said: you just checked in, you're going to eat later, you paid, you didn't run right away..,, no sister - we paid and checked in.... Ok, paying is fine, but the way you jerked your voice made the customer think they didn't know what a customer was, they just printed it - so rushed... So take care of them. I also said "you guys make me think differently about Ben Tre's image on TV and in real life" the hotel is in an ok location, new, clean, spacious, free breakfast, a bit hot to sit in... If the staff is retrained like other big hotels, it will leave a better impression.

The water pipe in the balcony area is a bit dirty.

The room is nice and comfortable, the mattress and pillow are soft so I slept well. The breakfast is ok. The hallway and elevator do not have air conditioning so it is quite hot, waiting for the elevator takes a long time. From the elevator door to the first floor, there is a slight smell. Overall, it is ok.

Great place to stay and experience.

Pros: Great location. Spacious rooms. Good breakfast menu although not much variance on a day to day basis. Cons: Ants all over the place in the room. Spider/Cobwebs could be seen behind the curtains.

Pros:- Great Location.- Rooms are spacious.- The breakfast menu items are plenty but most of it is the same for the days I stayed.- The hotel staff is courteous. Cons:- There were ants all over the place in the room.- The glass windows were not as clean and there were cobwebs.

Satisfied. Beautiful view, clean, comfortable rooms, delicious food. The only small suggestion is to leave a mat for guests to wipe their feet in the bathroom area

Diamond Star Hotel Bên Tre really impressed us by exterior and interior design for such a 5 star hotel in Ben Tre where we firstly thought to book a mini hotel when reaching the city till the moment we saw Diamond Star located right to the river and local market with lots of things to explore for one night stay. The bed room is very very comfortable with its design (spacious bathroom, very nice view from the window as well as the small balcony. A big thank to Xuyến (front office supervisor) who allocated our room with very nice view which made our stay a wonderful one. The male concierge (forgot to obtain his name) who greeted us with warm welcome and smiling face right at the main door, offered his assistance to take care of our bags and shared with us all useful information related to tourist spots and nice places to eat delicious food around. Another male concierge (afternoon shift) was also so nice and friendly to direct us for nice food at the other side of the bridge which is few steps from the hotel. Breakfast dishes are nice enough to say, restaurant staffs are friendly and offer guests further assistance. I personally doubt myself for a 5 star hotel in town like Ben Tre till I experienced my stay there. For sure, Diamond Star will be our first choice for accommodation in Bên Tre. Thanks all for being so nice and friendly to all guests.
