My third time to Borobudur. This time I got the full experience of walking around the structure accompanied by a guide. Pak Agus was very funny and friendly, despite us being in a group in the last session that day. His energy was unmatched. The most unforgettable experience was seeing Merapi from Borobudur, kind of floating around above the clouds so up high there.

It would be so much better if we took the previous sessions, I guess, because the 8th session is considered short. We have to go down at 5.

It's a bit difficult to find a shuttle car (which is free) after leaving the temple area, so the walk to the parking lot or pick-up point is quite far.

The shuttle is good. It would be good to provide more shuttles to avoid the long queue.

It's worth visiting Borobudur with a Rp150,000 ticket. The facilities are very satisfying.

When I went there in 2015 and in 2026, the conditions had changed dramatically. It's much better now.
