Choose the 3:30 PM arrival time; it's not too hot or crowded. Parking at M is a long way to the ticket counter, requiring a detour around the shopping mall. Free shuttle ride from the temple to the ticket counter, guide, and Upnat sandals, along with informative guides like Uncle Sam.

Borobudur is now quite organized and very exclusive. Everything is neatly arranged, from the main entrance, through ticket exchange to obtain a barcode for boarding the shuttle, and special sandals for climbing the temple, as well as getting a guide.

Arriving at 2:30 PM, I ran from the parking lot. Luckily, the security guard was very helpful in directing me to the nearest boogie board. Redemption was also very easy.

Very smooth experience. No issues printing the tickets and going up the temple, but the guide disappeared after the final top stupa.

The place is very clean. The difficulty is that the bus parking area is quite far from the ticket exchange area, and the directions to the ticket counter are somewhat lacking/complicated, but the staff (security and cleaning) are very good at providing information.

Staff is friendly, helpful, and patient to explain the history of Borobudur. The ticket price paid is definitely worth it!
