I'm so happy to be here because now there's a limit on the number of people allowed to climb to the Stupa area. So it's not as crowded as it used to be. You can enjoy the temple views and take photos comfortably.

It's much better than a few years ago. Access and signage are also clearer. Visitors don't have to walk too far thanks to the free shuttle service and priority access for the elderly or those with disabilities. However, the exit, which requires a maze-like route around all the vendors without shortcuts, is very tiring and confusing. Please consider this.

You must try the Borobudur tour to continue to the top. We really felt a cool tour from the top of the temple. We also got a guide. The goodie bag contains: Upanat sandals, drinking water. You must try it at least once in your life.

My last visit to Borobudur was almost ten years ago, and the changes are even more impressive. It's more organized and the service is also excellent.
