Amazing

The hotel is comfortable and the employees are very nice. However, hammering and painting were being done at 11:30 pm on several occasions. This glorified hotel seems to be the place to go for people that want to be loud and do things that more reputable resorts would not allow. There were also people sleeping in vehicles in the parking lot.

My family stayed here for the holidays. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Close to everything in Scottsdale. Loved the lake and the pool-highly recommend!

This is an older property that has been renovated and is an excellent value for the price. My room had a nice balcony that overlooked a small lake. Location is close to Old Town Scottsdale, so very convenient to shopping and dining. Staff is friendly and helpful plus the room was very clean, comfortable and big. Will definitely book again.

Property is on gorgeous lot, but rooms need remodeling and food in restaurant is mediocre.

The water in our room was not hot in the shower. Everything else was fine just a little tired after all those years.

It was nice and quite yet still upset about cost of pet and bed was not comfortable.

The hotel smells like sewage and is really worn down with paint to “dress” it up. The bed are super uncomfortable and you can feel the springs in them. The furniture is best up and the chairs so dirty you don’t want to sit down. Also the fridge didn’t work so I food had to be thrown away. No one was staying there but every room had a light on it it and seemed super wasteful. Loud tennis center nearby and no ambiance. Was definitely not what we expected based on the other reviews. Very dingy and run down.

I hope our stay was not indicative of how things typically function at this hotel. When we were there they were in the middle of a renovation and transition but basically none of the amenities were available that were stated in the information. It was a very hot day outside and we wanted to use the boats in the middle of the lake but there was pretty much no guidance on how to do so. When I asked at the front desk they just said it's really hot outside so nobody is out there to help. Which is fair, factually speaking but why they didn't have more information or a sign at least, was surprising to me. Given that Phoenix is unbearably hot several months out of the year I would think they would have some kind of protection or a covered space by the lake . Also the pool was not available for our use due to some kind of maintenance. It just felt like the people at the front desk were more annoyed with me asking questions than helpful. There were also a few items that were not working properly in our room. From the photos and description this hotel over promised and under delivered in my opinion.

Beautiful property on the lake. Incredible sunsets from the room balcony! We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant on the lake and both meals were fantastic. Geese and ducks are so adorable on the property. Great for kids if they like to feed the ducks.

It wasn’t super nice and I got noise complaints when I was on the phone so they should figure out their thin walls.
