This is a lovely, relaxed 5 star hotel. It's recently renovated in a classy yet slightly boutique style. It's not flash, white (and soulless) like some places. There's lots of lovely materials, art and spaces. Our side sea view room was perfect with a great bed, shower, products etc. The breakfasts are really varied but are a buffet. Choosing to go 'selected' gives you access to a menu and table service but the options are very 'random', which I liked. The beach club was good but not brilliant, the tables are tightly packed, the seats not particularly comfortable and the menu and food OK but not great. Its not a place for hanging around like say The Beach House. We used the beach beds which are in a single row so not overly crowded like some places.
It's location is quiet, yet minutes from the old town.
Overall its at the more 'classy' end of marbellla hotels, is more private and after trying a few, is our favourite. I'd highly recommend it.
