We went the inauguration week of Les Rencontres, a famous photo exhibition and this was the last hotel available at a price of 150€/night for a double standard room with breakfast. The hotel is located in the industrial zone, 20 minutes walking distance from the town. It was infested with mosquitoes, but the staff offered a killing spray. The room was pretty small, only two towels were offered, flat pillows, no fridge to keep cold water or food, no amenities and bring your own hair dryer because the one in the room is useless. No gym, no restaurant, no vending machine only buffet breakfast and a kind of bar during afternoon. When we asked for another towel to go to the pool they told us that no more were available because they were at full capacity and they only had two towels per room... One day they even forget to restock the towels after cleaning. The breakfast offer was scarce and only one person working there alone to restock, obviously not enough. The last day there were no cereal and yogurt left at 8:30!
Beware if you don't speak French, the staff will try their best to speak other languages, but they barely speak English, even the manager.
If you are making me pay a 5 star hotel price you better offer a 5 star hotel service.
