Lovely hotel central to centre

Tiny rooms, great location

Very convenient for a short walk to lovely local restaurants, and walks along the river Loire. Very comfy beds, and modern bathrooms.

First, the hotel room, staff and location were great. It would have been nice to know that major construction has been going on for a while, and will continue for some time to come. In absolute fairness, this did NOT impact sleep at the place. It did distract from a welcoming feeling. Trucks, cranes etc were the first thing we saw as we got there. The parking (regardless of construction) is limited in the immediate area, but the Hotel has an arrangement with the immediately adjacent parking lot so that worked out good. The area in front of the hotel is the parking lot, so the ambiance of the place is not wonderful. However, everything you need is within easy walk from the hotel.

Lovely hotel in the centre of this beautiful town on the banks of the Loire. Quiet comfortable and clean a great place to stay!

The friendliest hotel service we experienced during our 3 weeks trip. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was big and clean. Parking was easy

Service was awful. Manager was incredibly unhelpful, i got the feeling he was deliberately being difficult because I wasn't French.

This is a great place to stay in Saumur. The room was nice, although there were no ammenities, i.e. shampoo, lotion. The staff was nice and quite willing to help us. Most spoke excellent English. There was a very tiny terrace (see picture) with a chair and table, but for only one person.

Fourth visit and just as good as ever. Helpful and very friendly staff, comfortable room; though no air conditioning made it a little hot; but you don’t get a canicule very often. Breakfast excellent. We will return whenever we visit Saumur

Friendly helpful staff. Convenient

Friendly helpful staff and a comfortable room with a good spacious bathroom. A great location right in the heart of everything. If like me you arrive by train, the bus service from/to the station is easy to use and arrives just around the corner from the hotel if you don’t want to do the 10 minute walk. Slight inconvenience is that there is no elevator so if you have a lot of luggage it might be a bit of a struggle. What a surprise to find that the television actually had all the channels shown on the inroom guide unlike most hotels.

Very nice hotel in a great location center of Saumur. Restaurants, pubs and grocery story just outside the front door. Friendly service, clean, comfortable room. 2 easy pay parking options and 1 free option. Nice breakfast offered. Would definitely would stay again. Only drawback are the weirdos that hang out across the street in the corner behind the Carrefour store across from the hotel. Harmless but weird ha ha.. Overall great place to stay at a great value in Saumur!

A lovely little hotel in the heart of a delightful town, with a gorgeous chateau sitting on the hill overlooking the river. Cafes and restaurants just a short walk from the hotel. What more could you need? We love the Kyriad hotels in France, this is no exception. Looking forward to the time we can return.

Comfortable bed, very clean,good buffet breakfast!

Booked two rooms for my family which includes four adults, one two year old and 6 month old twins. Hotel was very accommodating with cots. Rooms were a good size. It was very hot and fans were provided but no air conditioning. Hotel is well positioned in the centre and though there was no parking available, we were told where to park for free which was only 5 minutes walk away. Basic breakfast for 10 euros (they waived the charge for our toddler), although they did have a frozen yogurt machine which was fun.
