We stayed three nights over New Years Eve. While we didn't bring our dog we wished we had! The property has all kinds of amenities for pet owners like a washing srea and free treats. The room itself was like a small apartment complete with a toaster oven, microwave, and fridge. It was spacious! The floor is concrete as are the outside walls, which was good for soundproofing. It was not loud at all. We really enjoyed walking to the bamboo forest and the shops and restaurants. There is a mini mart not too far away. It was a very quiet area surrounded by water and it was very relaxing. Thank you!

Surprisingly I was given a huge room with 3 beds, kitchen and dining area so would be perfect for groups/family. I only stayed on my own so the room was too large for me, maybe the solo rooms became unavailable by the time I arrived but it was a wonderful stay. Very clean and modern, I would stay here again. The location was good with some cafes serving very good high quality matcha, convenience shop and station within a short walk. 10 mins walk you’ll find a beautiful bridge with a stream and more shops/restaurants plus the monkey park and bamboo forest. Highly recommend the Fu Fu No Yu Onsen.

Our group of 3 loved the clean, spacious rooms and proximity to the Monkey Park and Bamboo forest. The extra space felt like a luxury after many smaller (but more expensive) hotel rooms. The Beautiful pizza restaurant a 5 minute walk from the hotel blew us away. If you like desserts, there are so many places to choose from just a short walk away. The staff were kind and accommodating of us!

Great clean hotel with very friendly staff, ideal location for visiting the arishayama area. Only thing that's a downside is be sure to check the hotels website, some other booking agencies have other photos listed for this hotel that are misleading. The rooms are much smaller than the photos suggest

Lovely stay, the beds were comfortable, very nice to have a microwave in the kitchen as well as a refrigerator and sink. Spacious room, very friendly staff and a good location.

Good location, near public transportation, helpful staff, clean. Breakfast is drink & sweet rolls. Wished had more time ro enjoy the area.

Really enjoyed our stay at Riverside Arashiyama. Staff we very kind and accommodating, the room was comfortable, and the location is perfect for walking to everything!

Room was clean and tidy. Reasonable room size, fridge and bathroom area. Good surprise to have a microwave oven and free coffer 24 hours a day and free bread in the morning (though the free packaged juices were average). The down sides are The safe didn't work (probably no power) and was too small anyway. Our room was at the farthest end of the corridor, quite a long walk. We understand it was due to the shape of the building.

Enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It is close to Hanyk Arashiyama Station, and short walking distance from the main attractions in the area. Premises seems to be an apartment building turned into a hotel, so has the feeling of a home away from home. Simple, clean and well equipped accomodation.

This was not a hotel but should be advertised as an apartment. There was a kitchenette with a microwave. There was no daily cleaning so if staying for more than 2 nights clean dry towels might be a problem. No on site eating area. You had to walk some distance across the river to find anything to do and eat. Because of this I would stay somewhere on that side of the river if I visited again!

This place is not a hotel. It is more like a motel. The door to your room is outside near a little creek (with standing water). There is a light outside above the door that you cannot turn off and attracts many bugs. If you intend to go out in the evening or open the door at all, many bugs will come inside the room. It was a bad sign when we walked into the room and there was a can of bug spray by the door. The hallway is swarmed with bugs in the evening. My fiance and I couldnt sleep in that room, there was too many bugs that came inside. We ended up leaving that same night and just forfeiting our money. The staff speaks English very well but they disappear in the evening (due to bugs in the lobby as well). Would not recommend this place in the summer time.

It was an amazing stay. The room is huge! Good size for a family. The staff are very helpful and nice.

We stayed in 3 different hotels in Japan. So far this is the best. Checking in is so easy. The receptionist is very kind and helpful. The room is big and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this one.

Large cosy room and clean bathroom. Very friendly and helping staff. Soft bed and pillows. Even though check in time is 5pm I was kindly assisted earlier. Good attitude, good amenities and comfortability. When it comes to disadvantages, during the rain something (probably a part of gutter system) made a terrible noise. The rest was ok. Recommended for all travellers. Просторный и чистый номер. Очень дружелюбное отношение работника ресепшен. Мягкие подушки и удобная кровать. Несмотря на то, что заселение в пять вечера, мне разрешили заехать раньше. Доброе отношение, хорошие условия проживания. Из недостатков только одно - во время дождя ночью начался ужасный шум (предположительно от части канализационной системы). Все остальное было отлично. Рекомендую пушешественникам.
