Very nice room with a good ensuite bathroom. A lot of money has obviously been spent on redecorating and updating this hotel. It is not really within walking distance of the main facilities of the town. A good breakfast and pleasant staff. I have only given 4 stars for the room which seems a bit mean, purely because the 1 pillow provided is one of the most uncomfortable I have ever had to sleep on!

Lovely location, very spacious room with modern bathroom. Staff really friendly and welcoming. Very clean. We were with a 4 month baby and there is no lift access in the building so was a challenge to get things to and from the room. The parking is at the back so walking from the car required going down some stairs to then go back up. The main issue was sleeping as the mattress and pillows are just too soft, maybe this is just personal preference but still way too soft. On our last night there was an event in the breakfast/restaurant hall with very loud music till after midnight.

Strange hotel with smelly rooms. Our room was very smelly, somebody smoked a lot! Shouldn't be like this!!!

Our room was basic. The floor made a lot of noise, not very handy with a small baby. But our dogs were very very welcome, even in the breakfasthall. Staff was helpfull and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious! We will stay here again.

Very interesting place and reasonably priced. This is not a place to book if you are not able- bodied. From the front of the building you need to walk up multiple flights of stairs and from the back of the building on top of the hill you need to walk down multiple flights to reach the main landing at the back of the building. The office is then up a flight of stiars. We were happy with our stay though, we did not like the big soft square pilows that seem to be somewhat common in Germany. Hotel is away from the main centre and there is not alot around the hotel. We did walk back towards the main town area and ate at the gasthaus, we had a very good meal.
