The room was ok, but the shower had a small water flow and the water in the squat toilet was murky and smelly.

Awesome. Old building but still worth it to stay. Strategic location in the middle of the city, right behind Galeria Mall. The breakfast menu is also complete, although the heavy meals are mostly carbs + mostly bland. The view from the room is also good, with a direct view of Merapi. The AC is cold, the TV doesn't have Netflix and often loses signal. Overall good. Excellent overall
