Im shocked at the positive reviews of this place. It's a 10 min walk from train station, but if you have a roller bag, it's a terrible walk bc the streets in Naples are all textured, uneven & insanely dirty. The front of the place looked like an abandoned warehouse. The surrounding area is shady & dirty. Not just city-gritty.
You have to pay to use the tiny elevator or lug suitcases up 2 flights of stairs. The room was bigger than most European spaces which is nice, and the proprietor is really really friendly. Also, my kids loved the warm croissants in the morning. But towels looked really old and random, the shower door was broken. It had a weird steam/side jet option but it was broken. There was no top flat sheet on the bed, just a comforter. Ew. And the bed, while large, was sagging in the middle. Overall, we weren't super impressed & Would not stay here again.
