The people are so lovely, it was so nice & clean, they even have a coffee machine in the bbq/pool area. The pool was beautiful & very clean as well as the spa.
These people go above & beyond to make you feel welcome & to make sure you have all your needs.
There was also just a lovely feel about the place. There’s even Netflix & many other options on the smart tv. I struggle to sleep through noise, but it was so peaceful & quiet! We wished we’d had longer to stay here.

I would recommend this motel to anyone. The motel conditions, the cleanliness, in room services and modern touches to bathrooms are as good as one can find for the type of stay. I would not hesitate to stay there again. Mal

The room is more like a mini unit. Plenty of cutlery and crockery. Ice cubes were available in the fridge on arrival. Bathroom and room clean. Great value for money.

Other than the decor looking a little tired I can't fault the place. Seems popular with tradies and contractors, so a honeymoon destination it is not.
Nice shower, comfy bed, TV with netflix and decent wifi. Most importantly for me, the room was spotless and the motel quiet. Would I stay again? Sure.
The lady on reception booked a cab for me to get to the marina. Thank you.
Note, the motel is about a 20-25 minute walk from the train station, and 10-15 mins to CBD. McDonalds is 5 mins walk away. Gladstone is hilly! 😰

My room was ground level. It smelt very badly like a stale b.o musty sweaty smell. I had to leave the glass sliding door open all day and night because of the smell. Doors locks are worn and seem like they been forced at some point. Bed was good. Has an old couch in the room. Not sure why. Park right outside the door is good. Staff are great. Location is great.

The room is spacious. I loved that it was quiet. The kitchen and utensils were great. I only did not like that the remote for the AC in 1 of the rooms was old and batteries were on hold with tapes that needs a bit of hit and miss to turn the AC on or off.

We have stayed in a number of motels in Australia and this one had the least charm, a grim location near no amenities and a room that was noisy and sticky (it needed a proper clean).
At least it inspired us to be up very early!

The owners of the Aaron have gone above and beyond to supply guests with what they may need for cooking at the outdoor kitchen. The pool has a partial covering supplying some shade and is a very nice area for relaxing and visiting with other travellers. The rooms are really well maintained. On the ground floor, we had a patio with table and chairs outside the back sliding doors and was excellent for watching the kids playing basketball across the street and for just watching the world go by...
