Stay at Alice Springs Hotel

Your services was just pretty good

This was not as pictured when I booked the rooms. There were people coming and going that were not staying at the hotel. The staff at the desk were friendly. The AC in our first room didn't work they had to move our room.

This was a well located property near the mall, the pool was a bit average and not in the sun and really cold. The two rooms I stayed in, didn’t seem to have any cold water in the taps only hot which was annoying. Also the property needs better signage to restaurant, it was a confusing place with no signs to anything. Room was comfortable (though check the window I was on ground floor and a huge window opened directly into the side street and was not locked. ) Otherwise ammenities and room were fine

positives: Central location air con friendly staff Negatives: (not all are the hotel's fault but you should still be aware) dirty - lots of stains everywhere, weird smell, and found dead bug water tastes bad (I didn’t have this issue anywhere else in Alice Springs) the pool is falling apart, very dirty, and completely in the shade no microwave no soundproofing - you can hear other guests close their doors, walk around and talk not secure - anyone can walk in the front door, the hotel room doors are exterior, locks on doors are outdated, woken up in the early hours (3am) to people yelling and fighting The shower doesn’t drain properly so you're standing in a few inches of dirty water the whole shower it also has only one tiny holder to put your products only one main light and it needs to be changed it flickers when you turn it on and is very dim Do not disturb sign falls off easily - I was woken up by housekeeping staff to clean my room because the sign fell off

Nice hotel in a central and convenient location. Good bed, two good pillows each and bed lights - always essentials for a comfortable stay. Friendly and welcoming staff. The only downside was that there are no balconies on this older style hotel. But a very pleasant and comfortable stay non-the-less.

Room some what run down & not adequately cleaned. Random items found ontop of wardrobe. Bathroom floor grout colour is generally black, but light grey under the vanity ie flighty black.

Very Central to Town - like literally on the Towns doorstep

Property was fine restaurant was realy good pub grub.got to hotel after dark went to local shops. came across a number of drunk locals (8 ish) not a problem but i did not feel comfortable

The beds were super comfortable and the place was very friendly :)

Happy with the facilities

Spent a lot to spend 12 hours in the room to sleep and shower. But better than nothing. Weird exterior door locking mechanism. On a positive the sourdough pizza at Bella Alice was wonderful!

Regrettably, you can hear your neighbours a few rooms away, as well as those walking around on the level above. No powerpoints near the beds, so unless you have an extension cord you either move your bed to a power point or don't use medical devices while you sleep.

The bathroom floor needed washing behind doors. Staff no knowledgable about events and places in town

I guess it’s at the right price point. You get what you pay for, but security is poor. Someone was able to open my door at 1am in the morning. Only the security latch stopped them from getting access. I’ll assume it was an over intoxicated guest trying to access the wrong room and was able to access using another room key. Either that or someone else with more sinister motives. Reported to front desk. Wrecked a good nights sleep.

We enjoyed our stay.

Good central spot in Alice Springs to jump off to other activities. Short walk to grocery and main entertainment area. Beds are comfortable and the showers are plenty hot. It is an older hotel, so reflects the same, but with clean comfortable beds and hot water we were happy. We had the portion of the hotel where the rooms are glass walls to the outdoor hallway, which was fine, but did mean we heard all the chatter outside when some locals decided to stay up all night talking. We appreciated that all the outer doors were locked and could only be accessed with a room key.

Lovely check in lady who was very efficient. Parking an absolute nightmare. Overpriced and noisy. If the price was halved it would still be a little on the expensive side for what it is without breakfast.

Place is central but shabby and run down & not worth the amount they charge at all. There was a leaking toilet, taps that sprayed everywhere, I had to refit the sheets on the bed and the manager refused to offer a discount on the price. Also young kids jumped the fence and had easy access to car park at night. Didn’t feel safe or comfortable. Would not recommend unless desperate

I liked the locale. We changed to better room and we were pleased with it worth the extra money. The staff were obliging and friendly. One exception,more of that later. The restaurant “Bella “was attached to the hotel. Not sure about ownership. It was good and the beef cheeks were to die for. Open for breakfast lunch and dinner which was handy as restaurants were few in the area. But one big gripe. We were on holiday and waking up late and having a leisurely breakfast is one of our highlights! Service commenced at 7 and finished at 8.30! So no sleep in. The offerings were basic. And the eggs invariably cold as was the demeanour of the host, a very grumpy man. And guess what. No patronage. Big restaurant and almost empty.
