I went to Banyuwangi to support my son who was participating in the Taekwondo Provincial Championship at the Tawang Alun Sports Hall. The Aston Hotel is 1.1 km from the Tawang Alun Sports Hall and (it seems) to be the closest hotel to this sports hall. Incidentally, my 6.5 year old daughter has often requested to stay at a hotel for the past year. Finally, staying at the Aston Banyuwangi was her first experience staying at a hotel. Alhamdulillah, our experience at the Aston was pleasant. My little daughter enjoyed the swimming pool facilities and she was happy with the room we used. There is also a Gelato outlet in the hotel area.

Junior Suite type, when entering the toilet is still wet as if used & the room is hot for hours finally asked to move rooms & after trying several from the 8th floor to (3-4 floors) below with the same type, the AC is still problematic or hot not cold at all only the strong fan blows. It should be handled quickly until finally deciding to personally move to a better hotel without any compensation at all from the hotel.

The hotel staff is super friendly and very helpful. The room is cleaned every day. Refill drinks from the dispenser in the corridor so you don't have to worry about running out of drinks and it's also environmentally friendly. The breakfast is varied and delicious. The only drawback is that there is no tap in the bathroom for washing feet or ablution. So if you want to wash your feet you have to climb to the sink. Hopefully in the future it can be added to make it more comfortable.

The downside: The bathroom floor is slippery, my child fell in the bathroom because the floor was slippery
The upside: Clean room, calm atmosphere, nice hotel crew who always greets us, we requested a connecting room and were given one, the breakfast menu is extensive, the fried rice is cooked directly by the chef when we ask for it, it's really delicious π
The drinks on the table are always offered to be refilled by the hotel crew...

Kudos to housekeeper. The room, the bathroom perfectly clean. And the towels was perfect white. Foods was tasty and the price reasonable.
