Sima Sumba Hotel

Wonderful 3 star hotel. Don't expect luxury but for what it is, it 's great. Comfy beds, friendly staff with decent English, good shower. Good value for money.

The hotel is still very new, and I was impressed with its overall condition. The room had a powerful air conditioning system that provided a comfortable and cold environment. The amenities provided were of high quality, including shampoo, soap, and even lotion, all from the Essentia brand. However, there are some aspects of the service that could be improved. The receptionist should prioritize customers in front of them rather than answering the phone twice, which resulted in us having to wait during the check-in process. This could have been handled more efficiently. Another issue arose after swimming, as guests were not allowed to bring towels back to their rooms. It was quite inconvenient to walk back to the room wet and cold without a towel provided by the hotel. I found this policy to be ridiculous, and it should be reconsidered. On a positive note, the food I ordered for dinner was delicious and met my expectations. However, I felt that the taste of the breakfast buffet could be improved. It lacked the same level of flavor and quality as the dinner options. Overall, I would still recommend staying at this hotel, as it is the best option available in the West Sumba, Southwest Sumba, and Central Sumba areas. Despite some areas that need attention, the hotel offers a comfortable stay with excellent amenities. Thank you!

Booked for someone else, because I had already stayed here. Overall the experience is equally good, this hotel is the main recommendation if you want to visit Sumba Island.

The newest hotel in Sumba Island, the hotel is still very new. It is similar to a 4 star hotel in a big city in Java. Complete facilities, minus hairdryer. There are face towels and body lotions that can be used. Already using SmartTV, so you can enjoy Netflix.

The hotel is clean. The TV has YouTube, don't worry, it's not noisy, but please make the hallway brighter because my child is afraid that it's a bit dark 😀. Some of the food is salty. The rest is great. The waiters are friendly and smiling.
