Hi … Booked to celebrate a family member's birthday. Checked in on 3 Dec. Smooth check-in, well done for the front office team … given room 1501. Spacious for a family of 4. Surprised when the hotel team delivered a nicely decorated fruit platter as a birthday gesture. Impressed with their service. They may notice it during check-in as occupants' particulars need to be documented due to the pandemic. The housekeeping team is very friendly. On the 2nd day, the Swimming pool was very clean. We book for an hour as the pool area is limited to 12 pax per hour. Checked out on 5 Dec. Superfast, just need to drop a card in the checkout dropbox, and off we go … 👍 Thank you York Hotel, a weekend well spent! Served by the awesome team during our stay 🙏🏻.

Service here is pretty good, staff are very friendly. Room decoration is pretty dated but cosy; Could do with a makeover to modernize it. Near to the main shopping belt; Great for those who want an affordable stay and exploring Orchard on foot.

The lobby is stunning. It had a modern luxurious feel to it. The receptionist and the doorman was so friendly and kind. Would definitely come back for sure!

It's a nice and affordable hotel. We booked one room with four beds. Close to the hospital, and also not too far from Orchard Road.

The hotel is abit run down and many noticeable black stains esp around bathroom.
The carpet in the room smells awful too. With that location and price, it is bearable.
However, a hotel staff actually asked me to make sure my kids were seated and not making any noise while we were checking out at the lobby, and as a mother of 2 toddlers, I was abit offended because at the public, paid area, on what ground that my kids should be restricted from movement around the lobby?

The staff was very friendly. The hotel is perfect location-wise. It is close to shopping areas and malls. Everything is within walking distance. Overall, it was a great experience staying at York Hotel.
