Unsightly. Paint and popcorn ceiling pealing. Cobwebs in most corners. Our first room didn’t have built in heat. Had to use the ac unit on the heat setting. Very loud Ran 70 seconds, turned off for 17 second's all night long. Moved to a new room. The people wrapped in blankets, outside the window, loudly talking, at 9:00pm. Wonder what they were doing?

Room was very clean. I asked for handicap accessible, but it was not. Bathroom was was barely accessible. So small you had to squeeze beside toilet to shut bathroom door. The picture of the room I reserved indicated it had a comfy chair. There was only a desk chair. Beds had deep divots you were forced to sleep in. The front desk lady didn’t speak clear English;didn’t understand a thing she said. So glad we just knew the check in process. Won’t stay here again.

Budget-friendly, Available friendly staff, Pool w/ towels, & a walk across the street offers plenty of decent food choices including Newt’s.
Cons:
Condition of the building showing its age & in need of TLC. No issue with outdated décor that’s maintained.
The bed was too firm for my lower back
Overall it’s ok for a short trip where budget & location matter

Other than the fire alarm going off at 3 AM for a good half hour to 45 min? Was a good stay. Room was clean, bathroom was well stocked and the staff helped us with every request. Had to get our keys reprogramed twice. With a arm full of bags, was very inconvenient to return to front desk to have the card reprogramed again!!8

When I arrived there was no one at the front desk to check me in. It took over 10
Minutes for someone to come to the front desk after me calling 2 different time. My room was cold because they didn’t bother to tell me
There was a thermostat on the wall to turn up and then it took 4 hours for the room to get warm .

The heat was stuck on and blasting all night, we had to turn on the AC to make the room comfortable enough to sleep. People walked the hallway all night long talking loudly.

When we arrived, we got a room that had no lights except the bathroom light. We had requested a tub and we did not have a tub. When I went to speak with them about it, they changed us to a room with the tub, but the tub didn’t drain water nor did the bathroom sink. When we checked out and received our bill, it was $70 more. When asked about it, I was told that was for the room upgrade. I did not receive a room upgrade. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

The staff was pretty nice but there were a number of issues. The sole detector outside our room was chirping all night, the tv remote didn’t work (despite the staff string new batteries), the refrigerator made a very loud buzzing noise every time it came on, the bathroom wall near the tub has been patched but the water damage made it bubbly and crusty, the outlet used to charge my phone didn’t work so my phone didn’t charge. The location next to the closed Denny’s with the broken /boarded up windows was not great and the dimly lit area outside didn’t help. The heat was cranked on hi in the room when we arrived and we weren’t able to turn it down so we had to turn it completely off. there was no one at the desk when we tried to check out. On the positive side, the breakfast was ok.

Very frustrated when they say they have a lift in the pool area and it doesn't work. I am disabled & was loosing forward to using the pool! The shower in my accessible room did not have a bench or seat of any kind. If I hadn't brought my own I would not have been able to shower.
