JAX Airport Hotel

It was nothing like the photos, all run down and broken down. Room door had cracks in it, and it was super cold outside. Mattress was so noisy that I was afraid to breath. And that was my second room, the first one they gave me was even worse. Super scummy and stank of weed so badly. Never again.

Breakfast area a several dead cockroach on the floor and the first night I had a baby cockroach crawling on my end table key deactivated every day so I had to go get it re activeing everytime we left the room

You get what you pay for. And what I thought was a deal on Expedia was only dream. But the interaction at the front desk while checking in set the tone. After a long 13 hour drive, me and my family were ready to check in and sleep. Although it states that check in starts at 3 and there’s no time limit as we needed to be checked in by, we were planning on pulling up at 11pm, but we received a call at 8:30pm wanting to know our whereabouts and whether we planned on checking into (bought and paid for) room, and when exactly did we plan on being there. As we pulled into facility, it had a thin sign with the name that laid over the giant Econolodge sign, which at night was more visible that their smaller transparent sign. The older lady, I’m guessing a friendlier persona, seemed overwhelmed when checking people in, and it took her a long time to do so. Plus she was more intent upon listening in onto me and my wife’s conversation about other things than getting us checked in. It was grueling. The room itself was clean, but the refrigerator rattled all thru the night, and the toilet doesn’t flush. Most everything is dependent upon one’s first impression and the interaction of the hosts, and that was a terrible start for us.

Nothing to be excited about. This is a below average hotel, so don’t have any expectations of it being closed to a GOOD rating. Nevertheless, it’s located in a great area of town, near the airport, restaurants, and shopping centers. I would recommend replacing room couches as they look kind of filthy and extremely used. For the record, I didn’t sit on the couches.

the middle age guy with the eye impairment was very rude and nasty did not want to show us recipts of what we were being charged and was yelling. i will never ever stay here again.

I was inspecting the room and opened the mini fridge and roaches started falling out on the floor

The room was very spacious and clean. They asked for a cash deposit at check in, but wasn't refunded at check out. We did leave the room spotless. If I would have known about a non refundable deposit, I would have booked a nicer hotel. I booked this room simply because of the price.

My curtain rod fell out of the wall. I mean the dry wall screws literally fell out with the dry wall crumbling around it. All they has were smoking rooms. Smelled awful.

Renovations made the rooms look much better; however, parking area full of cigarette butts everywhere.

I stayed here one night because it was close to the airport. I liked that there was virtually no airport noise from jets. There was not noise from other guests either. The staff member who helped me was friendly, helpful, and polite. The room was clean and the mattress that I slept on was one of the most comfortable ones I have ever been on while traveling. The building is showing a little age, but for what I paid, I found it to be a great value. I would stay there again.

If you need a room for the night you just need a room. The management was courteous enough to reach out to me as I had travel delays and didn't end up checking in until 3am.

I have stayed at that place three times prior to this visit and this time really taught me a lesson because I got extremely sick and had to go to UF health North on Max leggett parkway due to exposure of second hand smoke and overlooked filthiness. When I asked the front desk clerk upon checking out about value points that I was supposed to have received from the past four to five visits never given to me and they wouldn't even provide me with a receipt which I needed for my financial records. I will never recommend anybody to stay there in that infested filth trap frequented by drug addicts and criminals located on airport road. That place needs to be shut down and rebuilt with its outdated ways and means of hosting travelers with its toxic environment and infectious germs you being spread by lazy half ass nasty untrained housekeeping staff and management. That place is a total dump and breeding ground for transmitting various illnesses and viruses including covid, no thanks I wouldn't recommend that place for my dog to spend the night there nevertheless anyone traveling in Jacksonville it's not worth spending your hard-earned money for or worth catching something that will cost you even more money to get rid of or possibly kill you it's slick nasty atmosphere and environment

The pictures advertised were not even of the property I went too. False advertisement. Want my money back asap

It’s an EconoLodge so I wasn't expecting Ritz Carlton luxury. Nevertheless, a working door key would be a minimum standard in my books. The electronic lovk didnt work so staff had to open the door each time I returned. The room was dated but clean, in reasonable repair, and the bed was decent.
