Staybridge Suites GRAND RAPIDS - AIRPORT, an IHG Hotel

The locks were broken on the back doors, anyone could get into the property without a key.

Very spacious my family had a wonderful time on new years eve. Large two bedrooms two bathrooms with a kitchen is what we had

Would not stay again. staff was friendly but room was old, carpets were dirty in the hallways and furniture was damaged and dirty. Ceiling in bathroom had water damage and mold.

Staff was very nice and attentive. TV would not work in room, they moved us quickly. Large dog was accepted with no issues. It was a lovely room. Wish it had been summer so we could enjoy pool and hot tub. Breakfast was the best I ever had at a hotel!

Could not cool the room enough at night and very dry

On Hotels.com, the listed pet fee for the hotel stated $15 a night for our small dog. It's the main reason we picked this place. At check in they demanded $75 for the pet fee. They were painting the halways so there was paint all over the carpets and heavy odor of paint fumes. I cant sleep without a fan, and there was none to be found. Front desk suggested i open the window instead, it coule only be opened less than an inch at most.

Simple and peaceful

Staff is super friendly. Rooms need better cleaning and some updating. Carpet is worn and shredded. Appliances are loud and visually beat up. Breakfast is amazing but why no ice one the soda machine.

Everything was great

Hotel was under restoration, but the problem was at 7:30 and after the construction worker was working right in front of my door making scrapping and hammering noises.

Pictures made it look much nicer than it actually was. Stayed 4 nights house keeping never came by. A few of the lights in our room didn’t work. Staff was nice upon check in and check out! Not the worst stay by any means, but I can’t say I’d recommend it.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Courtyard was a nice space as was the common areas. Room could have been cleaner but was spacious. Great for families with children or large groups. Living room furniture in unit needs to be updated or at least cleaned. Downfall would be the outdoor pool in inclement weather.

My partner and I have been driving up to Grand Rapids once a month for the past 5 months for her fertility treatments because we are trying to have a child after 2 years of trying on our own unsuccessfully. Every month we have chosen a different hotel to stay in because we have not liked them or had bad experiences at them, or they smell bad. This place was different by a long shot. Yes they are currently doing some refreshing on the building, but even so, it's a beautiful building, those that work there are incredibly kind. The front desk staff were amazing, especially Jennifer! Breakfast was so nice. Everthing was clean and smelled nice. The only issue we experienced was that our neighbors in the room next to us were loud and rude at all hours slamming there door, but that's not a reflection of the hotel and we will be booking there if we require another stay.

It was bad

Housekeeping needs more time in each room and to have higher standards.

We stayed at this hotel on two different occasions because it’s the only hotel with a king and two fulls, but each time it got grosser. I’m no prude, but the rooms needed fussier cleaning. The floors weren’t mopped; housekeeping completely overlooked a spilled box of Nerds over and under the refrigerator; and food-caked dishes were put back on the shelves! The second time we booked the hotel, it was having drywall renovations done on the third floor corridor, but they still put us up there! With constructions workers sanding drywall, drywall dust got on everything and we couldn’t help breathing it in. We had to dodge shopvacs, extension cords, and tarps strewn about in order to get to our room. When we entered, our luggage wheels brought in lines of drywall dust. This place wants to turn rooms over too quickly, so the deep and necessary cleaning isn’t happening. But this place also suffers from enough greed that it would put customers at risk in order to get more money. They should have made the third floor off-limits! Their saving grace is that they put us on the second floor after I complained, but I never got reimbursed for the more expensive room I booked on the third floor.

Upon checking in it took Atleast 4 trips back to front desk before they could program hotel key properly so we could get in our room. The main tv only showed the guide and wouldn’t show any other channels. Finally got fixed the next day with an additional cable box. The exterior is beautiful, the interior needs updating. Hotel rm bathroom had very little space for items due to pedestal sink. Have stayed at a staybridge in different location and was much happier. Staff was polite and tried to be helpful. I think I would stay at a different hotel next time even with the full kitchen amenities.

Terrible they cancelled our reservation and I need my money back this is called rubbery/ fraud.

Was a nice stay and the room was a great size for the price!
