Love the downtown location. However, two of our rooms faced downtown and was exposed to the loud music very late each night. Other two rooms did not hear the loud music.

Hotel was nice however the room was very noisy even though we were on the 28th floor. The music from Freemont street literally shook the furniture in the room.

All Hotel D staff I encountered were friendly, professional and consistently demonstrated that nothing was too much trouble ... from the front desk staff to the concierge, room attendent, restaurant hostess and security. I left my house keys in the room and they were quickly returned to me in Canada. It's rare these days to experience service like this. I will come back to The D because of the people and will recommend it to others.

This trip was the most incredible stay @ the D due to 2 employees: Chelisa & manager 'Randy.' This was the stay of my life, I will firever remember this. Overall not a great experience. As soon as you enter there’s a super strong cigarette smell emanating from everywhere. You can’t shake it off. Also, some rooms are facing Fremont Street which are very loud at night until about 1am. Rooms are outdated, old AC units that are loud and don’t cool properly. Beds are not the most comfortable. No mini fridge in the room, but you can request. The staff is great though.
