The Dylan at SFO

We have stayed at the Dylan a couple of times now. I'm happy to have discovered it. The facilities are very comfortable and the rooms are spacious. The location is great for easy walking connections to BART and CalTrain.

Nice convenient hotel very close to the airport. Large spacious rooms. Free coffee and tea was a winner at all hours. Good all round.

If you are looking for a place that is easy going as a motel, but a few steps up, the Dylan fits the bill. There are vending machines, easy, no fuss breakfast options like oatmeal, boiled eggs, etc. There is even a "happy hour" with wines by the glass as well as a selection of canned cocktails, proseco, and bottle spirits. They have coffee 24/7. While not made by a barista, for machine coffee, espresso, cappuccino, lattes, are passable. Nice staff. Really safe neighborhood with plenty of eating options available nearby.

This is a gem and so is the staff!

Great place to stay for a couple of nights while we explored San Francisco. Bed was unbelievably comfortable, shower was great and spotlessly clean.

Avoid this place – unsafe, rude staff, and deceptive charges I stayed at Dylan at SFO for one night (April 19–20, 2025), and it was one of the most distressing hotel experiences I’ve ever had. First, they tried to charge me $25 for early check-in even though I agreed to check in at 2 PM. Then they charged me $11 for parking, even though the listing said parking was included. I received two validation slips, parked my car, and went on with my day. When I returned from dinner, there were no parking spots available. I asked the receptionist, and she rudely yelled at me, told me to park on the street, and kicked me out of the lobby. Later, when I asked about an overcharge on the vending machine, she told me, “I’m done answering to you” and continued to be hostile. Even worse, another staff member denied I was ever charged for parking, calling me a liar—despite my card being charged and proof in hand. They kept changing their policies and tone as they saw fit. This experience was physically painful and emotionally exhausting. I was so disturbed by the receptionist’s aggressive behavior that I couldn’t sleep, genuinely afraid she might harass us further. This hotel does not feel safe or professional. I would strongly warn others to avoid staying here—there are better and more respectful options nearby.

Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

We only stayed for one night, but thought it was a really cute hotel. The staff was friendly, check in was fast and free parking on site. The room was clean and spacious.

We had a great experience at the Dylan and the staff were so accommodating! We would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a good clean hotel to stay while traveling.

Check in and out fine, still didn’t get a receipt because system was down but it’s been a few days now. Reception area was nice with coffee machine. Room is a renovated motel 6, the hotel reminded me of a motel you see in movies. Musty smell in room. The bathroom was nicely renovated but walls are paper thin and every time a door closed the walls would shake loudly. I could easily hear the room next me, when their alarm clock went off and hear the cleaning ladies through the walls two doors down! Very close to airport though.

At a fraction of the price of many other airport hotels, the Dylan is a winner. Super close, good free parking, clean, nice design and decoration. The only negative is that the walls are paper thin. Didnt bother me, but it could be a deal breaker for some. Checked in at 9pm and put at 5am, so all was very good.

I’ve stayed in this hotel several times. The staff is friendly and the room is always clean.

The room was nice and clean; the beds were super comfortable. I loved that the BART station was within walking distance and parking onsite was safe. The staff were super friendly and personable. Other than that, the only reason I'm docking a star off is that no one had told us about construction being done in the morning. It wasn't pleasant to wake up to drills and hammers in the morning. But, aside from that, it's a really great value hotel.

I booked for my college students. They had a wonderful time, they loved the room, and the whole experience was a breeze.

Great location with parking. Quiet and comfortable. I will be back!
