Th Click Clack Medellin is a beautifully designed and well-located hotel, just missing a bit of polish.
Strengths:
–Beautiful, modern, outdoor/indoor design
–Nice rooftop pool with views
–Multiple nice bars and restaurants inside
–Mostly friendly staff
Weaknesses:
–No fitness center
–Some noise noticeable from courtyard-facing room, but the hotel kindly gave me a white noise machine and lavender spray which helped
–Hotel bars and eateries were closed at seemingly peak times for business (eg, late afternoon) and staff manning these closed facilities were never sure whether any other bars/restaurants on the property were open at a given time
–Some security guards could use a bit more English etiquette training – eg, they'd often ask "Where are you going" when trying to re-enter the hotel as opposed to something nicer like "May I help you."

The hotel is super stylish, safe, and well-designed, with flawless room service. However, I experienced significant issues:
- Pool area is useless with only six loungers for hundreds of guests
- Freezing cold room with defective air conditioning
- Long breakfast delays the first two mornings
- No soundproofing—loud music all night
- Unhelpful rooftop bar service
In Detail:
1. Useless Pool Area
The pool looks great on the photos, but it’s completely impractical. There are only six places to lie down for the entire hotel.
2. Freezing Room
The air conditioning in my room kept resetting to 16°C and couldn’t be fixed despite multiple requests over 2.5 days. I was finally moved to another room in the middle of the third night, but by then, I’d already caught a cold from the freezing conditions.
3. Breakfast Delays
While service improved later, the first two mornings were a disaster. Breakfast took over 30 minutes to be served, and I had to leave without eating both times. Starting my day cold and hungry is not what I expect from a hotel of this standard
4. Noise Issues
The lively area means music plays all night which is fine, but the lack of soundproofing windows made it impossible to sleep without earplugs.
5. Rooftop Bar Service
While the rooftop bar looks impressive, the service was unaccommodating. When I asked for an extra cushion to support my back, I was told it wasn’t allowed— despite there being plenty available.

The staff was very welcoming. The breakfast was great. The only thing is the ac in the room was not working properly. We did complain about it on our 2nd day. They did bring a portable ac. The exhaust pipe that took the hot air out kept falling. They came and fixed it but it fell again. We had a 7 day stay. They did upgrade the room at no charge on our final night. It would have been nice if they had done that earlier. But besides that, everything was good.

By far, the most accommodating, professional and friendly reception of any hotel stay. Provided with private area to get ready for my early afternoon meetings (way before check-in). Super organized and well staffed.... again, friendly and professional!!!
