The hotel is expensive for what it offers, as it is tired and dated. The breakfast is disgusting and there are multiple other hotels nearby offering the same/better service for half the price.

Worst hotel I’ve ever encountered - be sure to check the reviews - some of the 10/10 are clearly repeated with different names. We arrived and were kept waiting in a cafe area despite reception being manned. After 20 mins I spoke to reception who were incredibly rude and tapped on the keyboard for ages before flatly announcing ‘system is down’ and nothing else. We then witnessed a shouting match between him and other guests. In the meantime I checked the Expedia listing as this wasn’t aligned to our expectations based on ratings - lo and behold we found lots of duplicate reviews but with different names. Utter scam. We immediately left for a reputable establishment- avoid this hotel.

The hotel was reasonable at the price. It seemed the towels were clean but very old. No elevator to the front desk, and not to our room. Many power outlet which was good. It was ok to stay one night.

Hotel showed much better in photos than reality. Had a super high rating on hotels.com that seemed disconnected from the hotel’s reality. Bathroom very small. Breakfast room a bit run down. No lobby to speak of. Service was not rude but it did feel like every request was an opportunity to charge rather than provide good service.

Loud street noise into the early hours of the morning very audible from the room. Located on a narrow back street making uber or taxi access difficult. The rooms themselves are very basic, with a patchwork of repairs. Staff are very helpful. Booked based on the higher reviews which are misleading.

Additionally, the room I received did not match what I had reserved, which was disappointing and inconvenient. It’s more ideal for tourists focused on sightseeing rather than business travelers, as the overall experience felt subpar for professional needs.

Where shall i start, dont know how this hotel gets these scores it was the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. Room we book not available, put us in a room we had to share a bed been travelling nearly 24hrs and wouldnt get in the shower. Room has old mould it was terrible.But had no where else to go about 4am in the morning. They did say they would move us in the morning, and they did, but only basic room, but had 2 beds. Bathroom very small but was better than the last one. Breakfast area is just a area with a few tables with just a packet of tissues for serviettes and nearly all the cups were cracked or chipped. I only had coffee in a paper cup and abit of the breakfast. The area isnt to good either, alot of man hanging around. But just ignored them, we were 2 english ladies in our late 50's and early 60's ,so abit daunting. I would avoid this hotel at all costs the reviews definitely dont match the hotel. And alot of guests we met felt the same

Photos on Expedia are false and are not of their rooms. Rooms are extremely small, have no view, sheets are poor quality, cover is too short for the bed, walls are patched with no paint, fan in shower extremely noisy, power plug loose and sparks when connecting. Staff talked loudly in reception all night. Not a King size bed. Staff were friendly and polite. Room was so bad we moved to another hotel after two nights. Good location but DO NOT book this hotel. 10/10 reviews likely done by owner.

Clean but rundown. Limited service, couldn’t help us with transportation to Giza except purchasing a tour. We were 2 adults and 2 children but there’s only a tiny roll of toilet paper without backup rolls so we have to keep asking for more toilet paper. The area is very busy with a lot of Egyptians on the streets evening time. Short walk to The Egyptian Museum.
