Nice resort, good Dinner, friendly staff.

Sehr schöne, ruhige Lage. Das Abendessen war von guter Qualität, wenn gleich die Auswahl nicht so groß war. Das Frühstücksbuffet war super und wurde ständig nachgelegt. Die Zimmer waren sehr klein, wir konnten unsere Koffer nicht öffnen. Das Bad machten einen alten Eindruck, aber sauber und hatte keine Defekte.

The staff is so friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the restaurant. It's so close to some amazing horse tours and a beach with seals! Greatest views of the Northern Lights on a clear night

Breakfast was great! Everyone was nice. It was comfortable and quiet!

Chambre propre et lit confortable. Par contre, pour l’insonorisation des chambres, ce n’était pas le cas de la notre. Nous étions dans la chambre à côté de celles des employés et il y a eu du bruit jusqu’à tard dans la nuit (allez retour avec la porte qui ferme fort, bruits l’autre côté du mur, etc). Peut-être qu’il y avait moins de bruit aux autres chambres. Chauffe serviette dans la chambre, option pour manger le soir avec prix abordable, bel endroit avec les centaines de chevaux autour de la bâtisse.

Hotel situato nel nulla. Ma molto bello, pulito bella camera, bel bagno, colazione abbondabte e molyo varia. Tutto buono. Abbiamo mangiato al loro ristorante prezzi nella norma e piatti buonissomi sia agnello che pesce. Siamo molyo contenti

Very nice hotel

Had a comfortable stay. I was warm and cozy with a storm blowing outside. The desk clerk told me that the northern lights “would be going crazy” the night I stayed, and they were indeed spectacular!

This guesthouse is the perfect location for the Snafellsjkull pennisula. It lets you stay in one place and drive 3 separate locations. It was super super quiet, clean, and warm. Their heated floors were so good after a cold day hiking and seeing the sites.

Fabulous location to enjoy the Icelandic countryside. Extremely well kept. Wonderful breakfast. Very welcoming to tourists.

We went to see the Northern Lights, and what a show we saw. The location was perfect. Our biggest surprise was dinner. We had not made any plans for dinner and decided to eat at the hotel...it was the best meal we had our whole trip. Highly recommend.

Some of Iceland's hidden gems are their guesthouses. Kast is out there on the windswept peninsula surrounded by mountains and sea, and of course Icelandic horses and sheep. Facilities are clean and comfy. Wonderful kitchen serving chef-prepared lamb, cod, etc. For the included breakfast, there is the full Icelandic layout. Wonderful!! I'd stay there again.

No amenities. No microwave. Shower leaks all over bathroom floor. I would not recommend. But the staff were ok.
