Fantastiskt läge mitt i Rom, flera bra restauranger på gatan utanför och minilivs mittemot. 15 min promenad till järnvägsstationen 15 min till Pantheon, spanska trappan mfl och 6 minuter till Colosseum. 2 min till stor shoppinggatan. Att då hotellet var lite enklare vägdes upp till 200 % av ett fantastiskt läge och mycket bra pris. 100 m att gå till närmaste frukostöppna Trattoria 10m till närmsta Osteria (restaurang)

There were few frills but the service was very friendly, the hotel conveniently located, and the room was clean. At a decent price, I highly recommend!

Be aware that check out is a very early 10:00am (and hotel will send constant reminders/messages to check you’re leaving), there’s a €30 surcharge if you arrive after 8:00pm, there’s 5 keys - which is a real hassle, reception is not staffed all the time and the man hides in the dark behind closed swing doors. All in all, it was not very welcoming and a bit of a time warp.
Location is good though and it’s on a quiet residential street.

It was a good stay for the price, the heating kept going up and down on its own and the lights in the bathroom were quite dim.
Excellent location for tourists and great service from the front desk.

Got there and the staff was super nice and accommodating. However got to the room and heater was malfunctioning and cleaning staff left the window open in December. Room was 45 degrees and took still next morning to warm up. Spotty wifi when working and they dont offer breakfast buffet any longer like they advertised. Not the worse place to stay but i wont be returning.

Zimmer ist für klein Kinder nicht geeignet. Esstisch, betttische sind mit Glas ausgestattet aber Gläser sind nicht stabil und sicher. Boden ist sehr kalt und hart. Es gibt nur eine an der Stiegenhaus öffneten Fenster also keine frische Luft und Tageslicht im Zimmer.

They pretend to charge me 50 euros
Extra in order to get in my room.
What a ridiculous policy is that! Is a hotel and when I request cancellation they didn’t have the dignity to refund my money, they are a TOTAL SCAM!!

Overall the stay was comfortable in the hotel. What I didn’t like is; there is an additional checking fee of 30 eur if you are arriving the hotel after 20:00, even the staff is at the hotel after 20:00. So if your flight is arriving late, be aware of this.

A very friendly staff and right in the middle of Rome’s tourist attraction. 1.5 miles/30 minutes walking to the Borghese Gallery, .8 miles/20 minutes walking to railway station, .5 miles/10 minutes walking to the Colosseum and 2.5 miles/1 hour walking to Vatican City. Lots of eating establishments close by and we would choose to stay here again.

Hotel Artorius was exactly what we were looking for. The location was great with a view of the Colosseum as soon as we stepped outside the studio. Carla helped facilitate our early morning transportation to and from the airport and communication was instantaneous throughout our stay.
