Very cold, central heating is not on and so rooms are heated with electric heaters.

Der Check-In hat gut geklappt. Tom war sehr nett und hat uns Tipps für die Stadt gegeben. Die Unterkunft ist schon etwas älter und ein bisschen heruntergekommen. Man teilt sich ein einziges Badezimmer mit mehreren Zimmern und muss teilweise etwas länger warten bis man ins Badezimmer kommt. Außerdem ist es sehr kalt. Sowohl im Badezimmer als auch in den Zimmern an sich. Es gibt eine elektrische Heizung in jedem Zimmer, aber trotzdem war es nachts und morgens sehr kalt. Das Bett war sauber. In unserem Zimmer gab es ein Waschbecken, was wir sehr gut fanden. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Am Tisch konnte man sich nett mit den anderen Gästen unterhalten. Insgesamt leider zu kalt im Winter.

it seems to be in the more industrial part of town, but also where the universities are located. it's not a far walk to buchanon street which has a metro and a lot of excitement around it. i really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in a more local location.

This is probably the most beautiful house I’ve seen in the UK during my travels and Tom is a wonderful host! Will definitely be back next time around to Glasgow!

Quaint property with nice architectural details. Big breakfast room, in dining room. Shared bathroom on upper floor. Good value.

We were greeted by Thomas as soon as we arrived with a cup of tea, breakfast was a lovely spread every morning at 8.30 and was delicious, rooms were kept clean and made everyday. We were very happy with our stay and the hosts were lovely. Would definitely recommend

Tom was a terrific host. I got straight off a plane from Sydney jetlagged and sleep deprived and Tom's lively welcome was just what I needed to start my holiday.

Tom has a slightly strong Glaswegian accent, but he is very friendly and will explain where you will be staying and the shared bathrooms. His partner makes breakfast, which starts at 8:30am, and if you head straight away, hot coffee, tea and toast will be waiting for you. And she is very helpful, repeatedly making sure you don't need anything and that the breakfast is good. It is a bit out of the centre of Glasgow, but that makes it quieter and you will sleep very comfortably. However, this is Glasgow. Remember that it can be a bit chilly, even in summer. I stayed in a room on the second floor, but there is no lift and it was a struggle to carry my heavy suitcase up the stairs alone. Overall, I had a very pleasant time here. If you want to stay in Glasgow for a bit cheaper and more comfortable, this is the place to choose.

il est pratiquement impossible de trouver un hébergement sur Glasgow avec petit dejeuner en plus et au moins d'aout a 85 euros comme je l'ai payé. Le matelas est confortable, il y a un frigo dans la chambre, tele, salle de bain privée, petit dej complet. C'est une très bonne option de voyage. Apres, rien n'est parfait, il y a quand meme des cartons qui trainent par ci par la, des vetements qui sechent dans un coin,... on est vraiment comme a la maison.

Old character building in Glasgow. Tom the owner is super friendly and helpful. The B&B is a little tired and dated - but offers exactly what it says a Bed - which was clean and comfortable and Breakfast which was acceptable. The lady who organises the breakfast is super friendly and efficient, always refreshing the coffee/milk/juice/toast etc. the breakfast set up is great too and encourages talk with the other guest.

I have mixed feelings about this. Purely chose this property for it's great reviews and the fact that it had a private bathroom. Well, it didn't have a private bathroom, it was just next door to my room but it was used by other people too and it was quite difficult to get your "shift" in the morning. The landlord Tom was extremely lovely and kind, even when I arrived quite late to check in, he was very helpful and utterly accommodating. He is such a sweetheart and I don't mean to disrespect him anyway whatsoever. But he did promised me a taxi to my tour (we arranged this the previous night) quite early in the morning and we scheduled to meet at X hour. Never saw a ride or him the next morning, had to catch an Uber in a panic and almost missed my prepaid tour. Also, despite the lovely service, the were no advice where to leave the keys when you leave and to be fair, the place was extremely cluttered. Clean but very disorganised. And the small refrigerator in my room was so incredibly loud I couldn't sleep at all most of the time. Buy again I want to stress, the location, the landlord and room was lovely.
