WECOSTAY Gangnam

We stayed at the WeCoStay Gangnam for 7 days this past week. Overall we really enjoyed it and I would stay again on my next trip. We liked the Seocho area, it felt less touristy than other areas of town and was an easy walk to the subway. Many food options within a 5 min walk. We loved the heated floors and toilet. We'd return after a cold January day and feel the warm right away. It took us a while to figure out all the lights and the oven area was the microwave - it's a very hi tech room. We liked the large tv where we could watch Youtube and other apps. Shower was nice, though that area was a bit small. It could benefit from some hooks in the bathroom, as there was no place to put your clothes. Beds were comfortable and we loved the large walk in closet. It could use some more hangers though. We had exactly 2 sets of dishes in the kitchen - which is fine, but some normal drinking glasses would have been a nice addition. We had no issues going to the supply closet and getting new towels or TP as we need it. The construction going on next door wasn't really an issue inside, the only other noises were heard from were from floor. We'd hear hammering early in the morning or guests in other rooms who were loud but overall, pretty quiet.

They need to dust the rooms better and clean floors more deep

We stayed here because we were coming from Geoje and it was about a 10 minute walk from Nambu Bus Terminal and close to two metro lines so it was easy to get around to other places in Seoul. It was a comfortable and very nice room with easy check-in and check-out. Quick and easy communication as well. Highly recommend staying here!

주변에 신축 건물 공사현장이 많아 시끄러워요. 호텔 자체는 깨끗하고 좋았어요. 강추

綺麗で使いやすかった。

Nice modern property. Very comfortable. Clean property. Had washer but no dryer. Would be better if there was a dryer & iron in the room. Near a subway station but a bit of a ride on the subway to sightseeing areas, at least 30 minutes. As long as you have the time and subway pass that gives you unlimited rides, it’s a good trade off to stay in this nicer place for this price point as compared to Hong Dae but it’s definitely less convenient because it’s not as central and if you don’t have time, it’s best to stay in a more central area. Office hours is 10-6 or 7pm which is a small issue for us to speak to someone because we’re usually out before 10am and not back until after 10pm. Staff was helpful & friendly the couple of times I had interaction with them like when we checked-in and the next day. We enjoyed this property and would recommend it if you are okay with traveling at least 30 minutes on the subway to sightseeing areas. The place is exactly how it looks from website photos.

Everything’s OK except construction noise from 7 in the morning every day including Sunday But it’s not this property’s fault

Only thing, toilet bowl area could be cleaner. Liquid stream was down the toilet plus the bottom floor area was dirty with hair right next to it.

I booked this hotel twice during my trip to Seoul. Both times, I had a bit of a fight with the Wecostay Gangnam representative because I was booked a smaller room than the one I had booked. The representative wanted to contact the hotels.com website, but I couldn't because I was in Korea. I felt bad. Not once, but twice in a row. I hope that the partners communicate clearly so that consumers are not harmed.

家族で利用しました。 大人3人だったので広さの心配をしてましたが、ちょうどいい広さでした。 室内もとても綺麗で、キッチンも冷凍庫もあったため部屋に戻ってご飯を作ったりすることもできます。 洗濯機もあって、長期滞在にもってこいです。 周りの環境も静かで、窓も大きく陽当たりもよかったです。 セルフチェックインも楽ですし、1Fにはスタッフさんもおられたのでトラブルがあった時には親切に日本語でスムーズに対応してくれました。 また数日滞在する時はぜひ利用したいと思います。 ありがとうございました。

Ho soggiornato qui per 16 giorni ed è stata una base perfetta per il mio viaggio, molto comodo il bus diretto per l’aeroporto a soli 6 min a piedi (per arrivare a Incheon impiega circa un’ora e mezza). Comodissima la lavatrice nell’appartamento e la fornitura di detersivi (per piatti e per lavatrice) e shampoo/bagnoschiuma che può essere rifornita in modalità self service. Le pulizie non sono incluse nella tariffa ma è possibile richiederle e pagarle in loco. Non è inclusa la colazione ma più opzioni nei dintorni e vari minimarket a pochi metri

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt und haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Ich würde die Unterkunft jedem weiter empfehlen.

The location is not convenient if you are moving around by public transportation.

Excellent accommodations and I would definitely stay there again.

I think the way Wecostay works should be communicated well before the check-in day. i.e.; No personnel at front desk. Remember that foreigners might want to see and talk to humans and not through emails. So it was quite weird when I checked-in. The signs on the wall and hanging posters and the information in the emails are contradictory until one understands that there are many hotel in the building. Besides all that, very cool place!

The place is new and clean. Very near bus and train station esp airport bus stop.
