Above all, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Beyond that, I had a weeklong stay, and the hotel is a short walk to the Matterhorn gondola, restaurants, bars, everything.Very pleased with this stay.

The Europe Hotel in Zermatt was a wonderful hotel and made me feel so welcome. The staff was excellent and super helpful, the hotel was very well appointed & taken care of, and the overall experience was perfect. Highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to visit again!

Wonderful breakfast! Rooms were nice, but one of the reasons we booked here with the higher prices was the spa. It was not very extensive and is open only limited hours, where it doesn’t leave you much time to get a bit to eat after check in, and then use the spa. Disappointed in the hours of the spa. Open until at least 9pm would be helpful

Most of the staff were very hospitable. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the baths were a great way to relax and unwind. The free shuttle to and from the train station was a great help.
I found the way some of the female staff at the front desk spoke to me intimidating. From the balcony of my second-floor room, I could see the Matterhorn from only the edge of the balcony, as the trees partially overlapped the mountain.

Amazing hotel and we opted for the mountain view which had the best view of the Matterhorn - especially at night. Obviously this depends on whether its clear or not. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.
