We didn’t find Dubai a very walkable city except for old town. It’s a cute quaint area where you can pop downstairs from your hotel and be surrounded by shops and sightseeing! The hotel is separated into 10 different buildings that spans from east to west along old town. The breakfast included was very delicious - you’re subject into it since that’s the only place around open in the mornings. We loved taking the abra since it right from downstairs of building 10 side. Hotel room was small but had everything you needed and very stylish. Bed was super comfortable and they offered all toiletries (the good stuff).

Love the way the resort was setup, felt like a trip back in time to ancient Middle East cities. The room included free dinner that sweetened the deal. We didn’t spend a full night at the resort, used it to have a place to stay on our last day in Dubai, it was cheaper to rent a full day at Alseef than use the late checkout option at The Palace Downtown, and we enjoyed our time at Alseef 10x more while it cost 10x less per night. A definite win, and will stay longer there next time.

An absolutely unique hotel in the best part of Dubai. Pictures will never do it justice. Every fitting in the room was made to fit the style of the area. Probably in my top 10 hotels of all time and I do about 150 nights a year globally.

I found this hotel to be very noisy and my room was cold with no way to make it warmer. Shower was lukewarm at best.

This property is designed to provide an experience closer to Dubai heritage and because of that the room is decorated with elements that are not so sympathetic to modern comforts. This is the case of light switches or phone not in the bedside table -but in the wall. In general it feels very healthy to sleep in these rooms without carpets and to be able to open the windows. This hotel is based in experiencing the past and it gets it beautifully. Not to mention proximity to the subway (10mi walk) that brings you to Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa super popular area if the souk downstairs it’s not enough. Very pleasant stay in deed.

Property was incredible. Such a nice experience to be so close to shopping and dining options. The hotel rooms are ontop of the souq, hidden away and safe with kwy access. A golf cart drives you around. The only let down was the smell of the room. It smelt really damp, it could really use a dehunidifier.

The rooms are great. However, the property is spread in 10 different buildings with public having free access. This makes it quite noisy at night and sometimes during early mornings. If you are in building 10 like we were, you have to walk a considerable distance (about 300-400 metres) to get to the breakfast place. Not a great experience overall

Great location in the oldest part of Dubai. Great for a stroll daytime or at night. Staff extremely helpful. Beautiful, stylish hotel with lovely decoration! Would go there again.

Check-in went well. I arrived early and they tried to accommodate. Initially no room available but after a little time they found out the room was available. The area is charming old Dubai. The room is authentic. The bed was soft. Interior fitted the room and authentic style, however, somewhat worn out. The first night there was a lot of noise outside the hotel. The front desk also called at 10pm to check on the room. Nice gesture but too late for a call, I was sleeping after a long day.
